For how long have you been making art? Is there a schedule you have? (Like drawing at least 1 hour a day, etc.)

If you work fulltime (40h+/week) somewhere else and art is your hobby, is there any advice you have? I feel like time is running from my hands...

We don't really have a special schedule or anything, we just draw almost every day from 6 to 14 hours a day, depending on how we're feeling, work plans, deadlines, and inspiration. Drawing isn't just something we do, it’s literally our main job and pretty much our life, like non stop habit. So that's our advice... Just draw. Draw a lot and as often as you can. And you just get used to doing it all the time ✨

Hold up-- isn't Orin the sister of the DU? It was confirmed as far as I remember.

Did something change or did you guys fanon it differently?

Okay, we've got quite a few such questions. Let's figure it out a little bit

!Spoilers about Dark Urge and Orin's origin!

Orin is a blood-kin "sister" with the Bhaal's blood in her veins, but she can hardly be called a real sister, because the blood of Bhaal, the blood of Dead God, is the only thing that can really connect Dark Urge and Orin. However, her father is Sarevok Anchev (and her mother is Helena Anchev, who's also Sarevok's daughter.. Bhaal’s family is funny yeah yeah *sarcasm*), while Dark Urge doesn't have parents and was just created by Bhaal. So, Orin is not a true sister or something like that. And we follow this canon with Marrow's story. They don't see sisters in each other, but the legacy of one god

And even if she were a sister… It doesn't seem that anyone in Bhaal cult thinks about morals at all. In theory

Guys, guys… Obviously, anyone wants to be a lesbian with Orin okay? But if seriously, it was just a phraseology. Canonical Marrow is bisexual. We also mentioned her platonic bond with Gortash. But she had no experience of a normal serious relationship before Astarion (if their relationship can really be called normal lol) because she is Dark Urge and was the head of Bhaal cult — a person who was not looking for anything healthy and good

So with Orin, they were just physical lovers, not patners or more. But they could potentially be if everything were different

In short: love-hate, toxic, obsession. Their connection is about the physical, the instinctive, the wild. It’s like the ecstasy of madness between two lovers who are so much better at being enemies than as allies or family. But they were actually pretty good together, finding something in each other that you just can't get from any other mortal — equality in their intensity and power. Orin idolized Marrow, seeing in her a way to fill her inner void, for a sense of need and importance. Like a treasured tool, a favored weapon, a blood kin. And as for Marrow, Orin was like a drug she kept coming back to, a mirror reflecting the worst parts of herself. Only with her she could completely lose control of herself and enjoy the darkest desires. But her mind was always with Gortash, the man she gave her best parts to. So Orin began to see in Marrow echoes of Sarevok and Bhaal — unattainable idols who never put her in the first place. And she will never be in the first place for Marrow… And she knew what to do with that :)

So yeah... let's go bloody lesbians!!

Asks about our art and drawing process

Seeing more and more questions about this, so it makes sense to put these together in a single post

But before we start, a little warning: we ain't no art school graduates or anything, just a couple of self-taught illustrators who still figuring how to draw. This means we can't really give any pro tips, only share our experience, and let's be real, there's so little to share. So don't feel bad if after this post we sometimes skip these kinda questions — guys, we have a smooth brain and just vibing with our art. Nothing else v_v

So here you go

Nothing special, seriously. It might sound harsh, but sometimes we just don't have any other choice. Drawing is our job, our way of surviving, our life. There is no better motivation than taxes, you know. As for how we got started, it was all about that love for drawing, making ocs and stories, creating original stuff, and all the failures were like a boss fight. And fighting can be fun, not painful. Remember, the old you, the one who didn't know as much, brought you here — so don't ask too much from the current one, it's all part of the journey to becoming the future you. Love the process, not just the result. That's enough for us

Ahh.. randomly. Just choose those colors that work better with the mood and the idea of illustration, not always based on reality. Inspired by other artists art, animation, movies. Everything can change in the final anyway. Sometimes it's just an irrational "well... it's more beautiful this way”. Chaotic process, to be honest
