Steps to delete unknown partitions and format USB flash drive

Go to Windows search box and run command prompt as an administrator

Type < disk part > and hit enter

Type < list disk > and enter

Find your USB flash drive from the list, you can do it by the size of the disk Or Open Computer Management and compare it by Disk number.

Select your USB flash drive by typing < select disk (your USB disk number here) >

Then type < list partition >

Find unknown USB partition by size, that you want to delete

And select it, by typing < select partition (your USB partition number here) >

Type < delete partition > to delete unknown USB partition

Type < list partition > to check result

On Windows Insider Program page, under meet the Windows insider program, Click on Register button. Create an account or sign in to the Windows insider program.

Make sure you are signed in to Windows insider and then go to the following link

 Open your web browser and go to the Microsoft website, go to the Windows tab, and find Windows Insider Program, make sure you sign in to Windows Insider. On Windows Insider Program page, Under Quick connect, Click ISOs, find and click Select edition to choose Windows 11 edition. You can choose between Windows 11 Insider Pro, Enterprise, and Home editions. Also, you need to choose between Windows 11 versions.

 OK, when you find the right Windows 11 Edition and Version for you, select It from the Windows 11 Insider list (Recommended Windows 11 Pro, Dev or Beta Channel).

Select Windows 11 edition and click Confirm, then select Windows 11 language and click Confirm again, to create Windows 11 ISO file. Click Download button, to download Windows 11 ISO file.

 Step 4, Install Windows 11 from ISO file by Mount

 Right-click on Windows 11 ISO file and select Mount. This creates a Windows 11 installation virtual DVD drive on your PC. Open Windows 11 installation DVD drive. Find Windows 11 installer file and run it, to start installing Windows 11. By default, Windows 11 comes with updates, drivers, and optional features or you can download and install Windows 11 updates and drivers later.

You can also choose what to keep, keep personal files and apps, keep personal files only or keep nothing, which means a clean install of Windows 11.

Select the option that suits you and click Install, to install Windows 11.

 Step 5, Create Windows 11 bootable USB from ISO file

 To create a bootable Windows 11 USB drive, you need a USB Flash drive that's at least 8GB, Windows 11 ISO file, And Rufus software.

Rufus options to create a bootable Windows 11 USB flash drive

Device, make sure the selected drive is your USB.

Boot selection, must be Disk or ISO image and browse Windows 11 ISO

Partition scheme and Target system

Check, if the hard drive is MBR or GPT and then check BIOS mode. OK, for GPT partitions Target system must be UEFI and for MBR partitions Target system must be Legacy

Recommended File system is NTFS. All other settings you can leave by default.

Check Windows 11 bootable USB flash drive.

 When you boot Windows11 from USB, Select the edition of Windows 11 you want to install. Then select the Hard Drive where you want to install Windows 11. Format Hard drive and click Next to continue Windows 11 installation.

I have a battery problem on my laptop, my laptop battery is dead So, when I run my laptop, I get the following warning: Your battery has experienced permanent failure and needs to be replaced. Strike the F1 key to continue, F2 to run the setup utility. Anyway, you may don't get a warning like this, but if your laptop locking automatically, and keeps auto shutdown, you can try this solution, to stop laptop automatically locking.

Steps in Tutorial to stop laptop locking automatically:

Step 1. Go to battery settings And turn off the Battery saver option.

Step 2. Change laptop Power options To keep the laptop running and avoid automatically locking, better to switch it in safe mode. Start Windows in safe mode: Press and hold the Shift key on the keyboard and then restart the computer Continue to hold down the Shift key, until the blue screen (with the Choose an option) appears. Click Troubleshoot, Go to Advanced Options, and then Startup Settings, Click the Restart button. Strike 4 on your keyboard, to boot Windows in safe mode. Open Control Panel, Go to Power Options, and click on choose when to turn off the display, Set Turn off the display to Never. Then click on Change advanced power settings, Expand Hard disk, and set 0 minutes for Turn off hard disk, Click Apply to save changes Then scroll down and find PCI Express, expand it, Expand Link State power management, and set it to off, then click Apply and OK to save changes.

Step 3 to stop laptop locking automatically we have to disable Microsoft ACPI-compliant control method battery driver. Go to computer management, Click on Device Manager, Find and expand Batteries Right-click on Microsoft ACPI-compliant control method battery driver and select disable device, Click yes to save changes. If you see 2 battery drivers with same name (Microsoft ACPI-compliant control method battery) disable both of them. Restart your computer to run it to normal mode. All steps are done, hope it helps you to fix Laptop locking automatically or Laptop auto shutdown problem.
