What was Wart’s life like before meeting Beaujangles?

wart grew up in turtleshell pond along with his mother and three sisters. unfortunately, his egg mustve gotten mixed up in the nest because he was the only psyduck out of a family of beautiful duckletts. His sisters and mother were cruel to him, often insulting his looks and making him do all the work around the nest. as a result, he grew up lonely, quiet, and with poor self-esteem. he eventually scrounged up enough money in secret to leave home (a decision that his sisters both celebrated and mocked), and eventually made his way to pokemon square where he bought his house. he wanted to form a rescue team but didnt know anyone, and was scared of starting alone...

of course, when beaujangles enters the scene, that all changes; they start their rescue team, and he just straight up gives bj his house and sleeps in a nearby pond. bj forces wart to move in once he discovers this.

"She knows Dig too."

A little comic context:

I think one of the coolest things about Grovyle is how he knows how to use Dig.

The thing is, Clover (My Treecko Hero) can use it too (originally it was more for utility during the adventure (in PMD: Rescue Team, my skitty knew Dig too… I LOVE THAT MOVE)).

But later on I kind of connected the dots and was like, “WAIT, CLOVER KNOWS DIG TOO JUST LIKE GROVYLE!!! AND SHE’S A TREECKO!!!!”

So yeah, Clover’s kinda connected to that move. She doesn’t really know why, but there’s this weird sense of familiarity that comforts her. She just really loves digging.

(I think this comic happened after the Drowzee accident.)
