Just a small question about you magical girl au.

Do they just do their little transformation sequence and BOOM Genya and muichiro and girls now or are they always girl or are they never girl? You just call them magical girls even tho they are boy? I’m so confused this is the only thing I have been thinking about since I saw the first post.

Sorry if I’m being stupid.

No worries! The inspiration for this au was the sailor starlights from the sailor moon anime in the 90s. So in Genya and Muiichirou’s normal everyday life, they are boys and live as such.

But when they transform into their alter egos, they become girls (magical girls). And due to magic, no one can make the connection that (for example) normie male!genya and magical girl! genya are the same person.

And after the battles, Genya and Muiichirou transform back into boys. Essentially they physically switch between genders.

I refer to them as magical girls a lot cus I always draw them in their transformed state.

due to magic, kanao can’t tell the difference between genya and his magical girl alter ego.

and whala! kanao has her bisexual awakening.
