Jealousy (Law x Jean)

He watched her, his eyes on her while she spoke to the young barista who was enamored with her. He saw the way the boy’s eyes stared at her surprised when she first came to order taking in strange appearance before you could see him smile shyly as he took in her smile She was beautiful when she smiled she had way to draw people in, with just her smile. She was unaware of how the boy looked at her, spoke to her.

He could feel a coil of jealousy bubbling inside of hi, he said something that had her laugh he wasn’t sure what but whatever was said. He watched the boy blush and looked away, he knew how the boy felt. He knew the rush of excitement hearing her laugh how his heart would skip a beat. He hated seeing her smile and laugh at other men, a primal instinct wanted to lock her up haver her only smile at him, share her laugh with him. But he knew better, he knew better than anyone he would steal her smile away if he kept her locked up.

Law watched the young boy stumble over his words, stumbling around trying to find his words. He could see the boy’s gears grinding trying figure away to ask the young woman out while tried and failed at another joke to get her to laugh. She could only giggle a little bit while she stood oblivious to the man’s flirting.  He couldn’t help but feel slight pity for the man….only slightly. But the coiling jealous around his heart wouldn’t spring.

He walked towards her, his arms wrapping her waist,  “Little Shark,” his voice almost humming the nickname. It was a nickname her old mentor gave to her. He watched how Jean’s face flushed a little red at the nickname, how he was holding her. He placed a little kiss on the side of her head and his tattoo fingers drumming on her waist, “are our drinks ready yet?” He didn’t care for the drinks, he was just wanted the boy to know she was his.

Law watched as the boy’s face flushed and quickly hurried away to make their drinks.

“You have an affect on people?” he said holding her close.

“I do?” she tilted her head confused and Law smiled, part of her charm was her unaware of how much of effect she had on people.
