hey hey!! could I have a ship? I’m a female drummer! Drumming is my passion! I’m like 5’7 and my hair is short, but it’s big and like really curly & red. I’m from the South. I absolutely adore music. I want to go to Law School and become a lawyer. I love going to concerts and honestly, just having a good time!! I love going on cool adventures. I’m a Capricorn. I’m a super outgoing person and I’m definitely not shy! I’m always down for some fun! However, I can be hard-headed sometimes haha!
Hi! Honestly, you sound like you’d be great with Micky. You both sound like really outgoing, energetic people that are full of life, and he would understand any curly hair struggles you may have! Plus, you’re both drummers, it’s perfect! Micky is also very smart, which most people wouldn’t expect, and I think the parallel of you also wanting to go to law school was really surprising and cool in a similar way! Plus, with his sciencey brain and your law brain, you’d be an unstoppable brainy duo! Not to mention he would be SO much fun to go to concerts with. Hope you enjoyed this!

Hey really random question... idk if it's a ship or maybe a preference but, how do you think the monkees would act if one of their friends came out non binary?
Hello!
Honestly, I don’t think I’m really qualified to answer that question. I personally don’t really know enough about non-binary people and how they identify, and I really don’t want to say anything that may unintentionally be harmful or wrong on the subject. Of course, back in the 60’s I’m sure that even the idea of someone being non-binary was probably kind of foreign to most people, considering the rigid gender norms set in place at the time. I wish I could give you a better answer, I’m really sorry if this isn’t what you were looking for. Of course, I like to think they’d be supportive, but again, I don’t feel nearly qualified enough to speak in depth on the subject. Thank you so much for inquiring!

could i get a ship please? i’m 5’ 1”, have brown eyes and black hair, and i’m more on the chubbier side. i’m a very musical and artistic person (i’ve acted and sang live before), and i’ve begun songwriting and playing the piano even though i’m a rookie with both. i’m extremely shy and tend to speak very quietly around people i don’t know, but with my friends and loved ones i’m quite rowdy and very physically affectionate (e.g kissing cheeks, hugging, etc etc.) thank you! i love your blog ❣️
I’m glad you like the blog! Honestly, I’m sort of torn. I think you’d be great with Davy, but also maybe with Peter. Of course, you’re close in height to Davy, which is great for him cause I’m sure that was a recurring problem (sorry Davy, can’t ignore it 😂). He seemed to be very sweet and affectionate with those he cared about, but could be fun and playful when he wanted to be, a lot like you say you are! On the other hand, Peter would appreciate your interest in music. He loved people of all kinds! I hope you like this!

Hello! I just thought of a little imagine request- Mike and the reader are arguing about something or other, and somewhere along the line Mike says, "Would you please shut up? We're not married yet." I know that probably sounds rude, but I thought it was funny, plus it totally sounds like something Mike would say 😂
Can do!
**************
It was a completely trivial thing that had somehow blown up into a huge argument, really. Mike had always been passionate about his favorite films, and you knew that, but you didn’t know it was enough to turn into a full on argument.
“I’m just saying, Sunset Boulevard tops El Dorado every time!” You exclaimed, becoming frustrated as you sat across from the dark haired man in a near-frenzy.
He had tossed his wool hat aside at some point, raking his fingers through his hair as he listened to someone say that his beloved John Wayne westerns didn’t always top the list.
“Have you seen John Wayne’s movies? Do ya even have a grasp on what you’re saying here?” He said, “besides, Norma Desmond creeps me the hell out. Who told Gloria Swanson to do that...that thing with her eyes, anyway?!”
“It’s called EMOTING! They did it all the time in silent films, that’s what she was trying to capture!”
Both of you went back and forth like this for what seemed like an endless amount of time, with hand gestures that signaled a great deal of exasperation.
To an outsider, it would’ve seemed almost humorous to be so passionately arguing about something along the lines of films, but the both of you took it incredibly seriously. Of course, though neither of you were film scholars in any sense of the word, you both stood your ground and firmly made your case.
Mike continued to counterpoint with John Wayne’s bravery and stoicism onscreen, while you countered his counterpoint with the endless reasons why Gloria Swanson was perfect for her role. Perhaps both of you were a bit biased and not the best at seeing eye to eye, but your conviction surely showed through.
It all had to come to a head eventually, and now you both sat there wringing at hands, unbuttoning sleeves and collars as the argument made both of your bodies’ temperatures rise, and Mike eventually getting up to pace back and forth. If there was one thing you admired him for, it was his determination.
“That closing scene is one of the best in history! Gloria Swanson owns the camera!”
“Oh come on, so Wayne riding to victory doesn’t stir anything in you?”
“I’ve seen guys ride horses plenty of times!”
“Not like John Wayne does!” His voice suddenly cracked, causing him to clear his throat and continue as he frustratedly sipped a glass of water that had been sitting on the coffee table nearby. He had that cute scowl on his handsome face now that he always got when he was frustrated.
Hell, he was even thinking the same about you. The way your cheeks flushed when you got into heated and determined discussions was so endearing, but he snapped back to reality as soon as you both continued speaking.
“Whatever, I still say Sunset Boulevard wins!”
“Ugh, will you please shut up? We’re not even married yet, and we’re already fighting like cats and dogs!”
You paused, grinning to yourself as you finally felt the tension break. Mike didn’t even realize what he’d just said, until you brought it up again.
“Yet? So, you’re saying you have plans?”
Finally, it clicked in his brain as to what he’d said, and he sat back down on the other end of the couch with his hands firmly in his lap.
“Well, um,” he cleared his throat again, gulping down there rest of the water and trying to remain stoic. “I suppose that involves your input as well.”
Scooting closer, you wrapped your arms around one of his own slender ones, noticing the way he tried to hide a tiny smile as you did so. Now this was a a way to break up an argument.
“It does,” you nodded, seeing the humor in the previous argument and allowing it to bring a smile to your face. So hard-headed Mike was thinking of marriage, was he? Maybe he was a bit of a softie after all. “And if I have anything to say about it, we can just argue over movies until we’re old and grey and everyone is sick of hearing about it.”
Your eyes met for a moment, and you could see that familiar sparkle rise back up into Mike’s warm, brown orbs.
“Jesus, you know I can’t stay away when you smile at me like that,” he laughed, pulling you close and hugging you tightly to his skinny form. Skinny but strong, you thought. “I sure hope you keep on debatin’ me like this if we plan on making this long term, cause otherwise things’ll get pretty boring.”
“Yeah, I guess they would,” you admitted with a giggle. A few brief, sweet kisses were shared before Mike relented, running his fingers through your hair.
“Maybe I’ll have to give Sunset Boulevard another chance.”
“Maybe. And I suppose I can watch El Dorado again if you really think John Wayne’s horseback riding is so great.”
Finding his hat and putting it back on his head, Mike smiled and held you closer.
“You’re on.”

A ship if you please? Okay so I’m Lexi and my icon is me! :^) I’m 5’4, (almost) 20, and ISFP. Pros: I’m playful, great listener, weird sense of humour, smiley, and fairly talkative Neutral: Very sensitive, perfectionist, mildly socially awkward, a bit of a cryptid Cons: I’m very shy, stubborn, non confrontational, moderately passive aggressive, and have resting bitch face Likes/hobbies: drawing, thrifting, photography, playing bass, and horror movies Hope that was enough! Thanks in advance :^)
Hello! I’m probably a dummy, I’m not sure what ISFP is supposed to mean 😂 but based on everything else you’ve given me, you sound like you and Mike would have a lot in common! He himself is a pretty private guy who may seem confrontational at first, but if he’s around the right people (a-la, you) he would open up in a heartbeat. You might butt heads from time to time since you’re both strong willed and a bit stubborn, but at the end of the day you’d always manage to talk things out. Mike is renowned for his scowl, and would understand the struggle of people thinking he’s pissed off all the time when literally all he’s doing is relaxing his face. I think he’d be very intrigued by your art, since his artistic endeavors lie more on the musical side. Plus, the height difference would be pretty freakin’ cute. You’d both be glad to have someone who appreciated the quieter moments in life, and would find solace in each other for that reason. Hope you like this!

Can I have a ship request? I am 5'7" I have short brow hair. I am a bit of a nerd, reading comics and watching scary movies. I have low self esteem at times, so that stops me from a lot of adventures, but I can get along with anyone really. I love music and I sing in a few choirs. My secret talent is impressions and improv.
Okay, I am seriously getting STRONG vibes that you’d work with Micky. You’d have a lot in common in terms of loving improv and voices, and maybe he’d be able to bring you out of your shell a bit with his extrovertedness. He would ALWAYS be trying to make you smile, that’s for sure. For some reason I imagine that TV Micky would be a horror fan? I’m not sure why, he just gives me the vibe that he would LOVE slashers and possibly be somewhat overenthusiastic about them. I’m a horror fan too, so I totally get it 😂 Micky himself is a science nerd, which I think would lead him to love your interest in comics. I see many Star Trek marathons for you two! Plus, your heights are close, and it sounds like you’d look good together! Hope you like this!

Just a question. How long are ship requests allowed to be? (As in how long can my description of myself be?)
Hello!
There is no limit, really, but of course just remember that we really only need the basics! Your looks, height (if you wish), your interests and any other tidbits that you think would help out with choosing who you’d be best with. Hope this helps!

Howdy! Could I please have a ship? I am 5'4" with brown eyes and long wavy dark brown hair, I also wear glasses. I have some social anxiety. Shy around others but let loose around friends/people I'm comfortable with and enjoy a good conversation. Can get pretty hyper. I love a good laugh and making people laugh. Sort of indecisive. I'm caring and very loyal. I'm very excitable and open minded. I love movies, laughing, art, music and my dogs. Thank you so much! ❤😊
Hello! You sound a lot like you’d have personality traits in common with Micky, or at least the television version of him. Excitable, able to let loose with friends, those are all traits he would exhibit! However, I think you really sound like you’d mesh well with Mike. He’s a very private guy who seems like he can be very quiet at times, which I’m sure you’d appreciate, but you’d both be able to let loose and enjoy one another’s company. Plus, you’re both dog people, so it’s a win win! You sound like a very warm personality, which I’m sure Mike would open right up to. I hope this is what you were looking for!

Hello! Would you mind shipping me? I'm 5'4 and have brown eyes and curly brown hair that's almost to my waist. I also have a baby face plus glasses, which makes me look about 15 even though I'm actually 21 😂 I love reading books more than almost anything, but I also enjoy singing a lot. I'm generally a pretty shy and sensitive person, but I do enjoy talking to people I'm comfortable with. People say that I'm pretty kind and sweet, and I feel like I'd be the mom friend in my group. Thank you!
Hello! This one is tough...honestly, I think you’d be great with either Micky or Davy! Of course, Davy is a sweetheart who would be the perfect height for you, but I think you and Micky would be great together because he’s a very smart guy, although his rambunctious personality might hide that fact sometimes. Your love for literature and his love for science and physics could be an interesting combination! Plus, it sounds like you’d look adorable with either one of them on your arm. I hope you enjoy this!

Hi! Could I get a ship please? I’m 5’8. I have long brown hair and blue eyes. I like to hang out with my friends and family and watch tv shows and movies and listen to music. My friends say that I’m funny and I like to think I’m a kind and passionate person. Thank you so much!!
Hmm...well, dear anon, to me, you sound like you’d be Davy’s type! You both seem like you’re very warm and compassionate people who are good for conversation, and I think you’d get along very well. You also seem like a very calm person, which I’m sure he would appreciate (especially around his horses!). Your love of films and music would be something that would definitely get you two talking, and maybe Davy could even interest you in musical theater! I hope this was close to what you were looking for!

Helloooo!!! Can you ship me, please??? I'm tall (1,74 m), skinny, my hair is long, wavy amd brown, my eyes are light brown, I'm very pale... I use big blue glasses hehe... I'm a hippie/mod/rocker girl... I like to read, write, listen to music and watch 80's movies. I love history, I want to be a history teacher... I think that's all!!! Thank you so much!!!
Hello! I think you would be a fantastic match for Micky or Peter. Both of them are unique and incredibly smart guys, and they would be so intrigued by your knowledge of history and ability to teach others. Plus, glasses are totally cool. Especially when they’re blue! In my attempts to picture you, I can see you and Micky looking great together in person. The science/physics nerd and the history buff, what a combo! Peter would also love your unique tastes in style and music. Thanks for the submission!

Life/Blog Update
Hi everyone, admin Madeline here. I know, I know, it’s been far too long, and I deeply apologize for that.
So much has happened since we last talked, and my mental health really has not been the greatest. Trying to run this page on my own is not easy. I hate keeping all of you waiting and I am deeply, truly sorry.
After Peter’s passing in February, I felt like I couldn’t begin to write anymore. There were many other things that made life hard, but that was probably the hardest one to overcome.
I would really like to get back into writing if I could. I can’t promise my output will be very frequent, but I’ll try my best to give you quality over quantity.
Thank you all for your patience. It means a lot to me.
