everything feels impossibly nauseating until i just step into it. it’s like plunging my hands deep into dirt filled with worms and god knows what else. staring at soil that sifts with gross movement before doing it does not help the growing anxiety in your gut, you just have to get into it so it’s too late to back out

i finished the night circus. i read it once, sweeping through it without pausing to highlight anything beautiful. or even add a note. felt like i was there that way, very immersing. atmospheric. but now i’m gonna read it again to learn from miss erin. i’m gonna detangle it until it’s smooth

a few days ago my friend recognized me by my hair. she said it was very distinct. another time my friend was like i knew it was you from your crazy hair. it’s just curly. and a little frizzy. is it so odd to let it be
