So, in Pokemon Sleep, I rarely get a Dozing style score by normal means. Usually I get a Slumbering style (I have a very comfy bed and sleep with/cling to a body pillow.) So I tried to trick the game into thinking I'm sleeping Dozing style, by putting my phone in certain areas, that make plenty of noise.

Keep in mind, my sleep schedule is off, I've been sleeping during the day.

First was the family room, because my dad was apparently going to be down there all day, working and watching TV. It almost worked, but my dad went upstairs early. The second attempt, I set my phone on my parents' bed, so it would pick up the TV, plus my mom shifts around alot. Success!

Unfortunately, because of how my sleep was rotating, I wouldn't be able to put my phone on my parents' bed and be able to retrieve it later, because they would be asleep by then. So decided to try this: Have the Amazon Echo in the family room play snoring sounds, while I leave my phone in there.

It was so funny, hearing You-Know-Who snore like a man. And I had told my mom of this plan. Unfortunately, I got a Slumbering score because of the lack of movement.

However, it did lead to a funny moment that my mom just told me about.

She had forgotten me telling her about what I did, so when she came downstairs, she heard the snoring, and had no idea what it was. At first she thought she was just hearing the pipes, because you can hear when someone flushing my parents' toilet. So she went to kitchen to see if that's what she was hearing. Nope.

So then she taught, someone had gotten into our house and was sleeping somewhere in the family room. So she quietly moves around, searching for this person, then she goes near the Echo, and remember what I told her. She laughs, then tells my dad, and later tells me. It was good laugh for all of us.

What's to Come

Now that I've finished posting the main story of "Unusual Beauty" on DeviantArt, I will not only work on some extra short stories for the series, but I have plenty of artwork to share with you guys.

As for my plans in May, after some discussion between me, my parents, and my sister, we decided that Drea and I won't be going to San Francisco, because of the rise in crime there. Instead we'll be visiting some other nearby towns/cities for fun, that are safer (and cheaper to visit.) Poor Drea was worried I would be disappointed, but I'm actually quite at peace with this decision.

I am also feeling alot better lately, my sickness is almost fully cleared up, finally. I saw a doctor recently, and I can happily confirm it was not covid. Let's just hope whatever it was stays gone once I'm over it, and that I stay well.

Easter went well for my parents and I. We had BBQ ribs for dinner, plus I made a black velvet cake. For my Easter present, I got Princess Peach *cough*Violet*cough* Showtime. I haven't had a chance to play it yet, because I wasn't well enough, but I should be able to play it soon. No spoilers, people!

Anyway, here's hoping the rest of the Year of Dragon goes well for all of us! Love you, guys!

Health is improving a little.

I'm still sick, but I've been able to get alot of artwork done, as well as a little bit of proof reading. It helps that I have started drinking Red Bull when I ever I work on a project (don't worry, it only takes me 2-3 days to get through an entire can.) For my original series, "Unusual Beauty," I decided to the make the competition that Marrik and Freya take part in last three months instead of two. I will also soon post my favorite chapter.

As I may have mentioned before, I don't know how to describe dance moves in writing, I just give the names of the dance styles that are used. The story is mean't to focus mainly on Marrik and Freya's relationship.

In other news, I've gotten some other stuff taken care of in my life. I don't remember if I mentioned this, but last year I moved into one of the other bedrooms of my house, because the one I've been living in for years was at the center of alot of noise, which for someone with sensory issues like me, is heck. Alot the sun hits that room, so it gets really hot in the summer. I am now living in the quietest room in the house, and the sun doesn't really hit it, plus it has a nice view. I had moved most of my things to my new room.

Well, this month, I finally gotten around to moving the rest of my furniture (except for a couple of things) into my new room, and getting other furniture out of it (my mom helped me moved a couple of things out, but I did the really hard stuff.) I now have more space, and my room now really feels like my own. The next thing that will need to be done, next month, is to prepare my former room for when my sister, Drea, visits.

I really look forward to visited San Francisco in May. Not only will Drea and I revisit Japan Town, but we'll see other areas of the city. I even made notes of places we should see, as well as what restaurants we should eat at.

Until then, and when I'm up to it, I will post the rest of "Unusual Beauty" and the artwork I did for it on DeviantArt. I hope you look forward to it.

I got sick again...

Another upper respiratory infection, so there may be a delay in me posting stuff on DeviantArt. I really hope I don't get sick again during May, when I will be on my little vacation with my sister. I already had to put off the one with my mom (at least until later this year, if possible.) As I may have stated before, this year is when my parents and I are supposed to move, because of financial reasons, so one of the things I will be focused on is helping getting the house to look presentable to put on the market. I just gotta keep reminding/pushing my parents to do their part, as well as hire some help with some things, because I feel like I'm doing most of the work here.

A big fuck you to the Sims 4 team for changing how modding and tuning works, breaking almost every mod I — and many others — own, more so than usual. But a big thank you to all the modders out there trying to sort things out. I know it must be tedious and tiresome, but I hope you know how many of us appreciate the time y'all take to update things. So thanks.

Marrik and Freya are doing a slow dance in this picture. You can't see their other arms because the perspective causes them to be hidden behind Freya's hair. The constellation next to Marrik is Aquarius, his astronomical sign. The one next to Freya is Sagittarius, which is her astronomical sign. Underneath them are cranes, which is a reference to the story of Altair and Vega, which will have some significance later on in the story.

I love when I have dreams like this.

I just dreamt that I was at a Nintendo theme park, and that there was a Kirby ride, as well as a Kirby restaurant. The ride wasn't fast, it just allowed you to see different scenes with animatronics. The characters that were included were Tiff/Fumu and Tuff/Bun. I remember there being a female monster, with a tornado like body, and her head kinda reminded me of the pokemon, Smoochum. She spun around and blew kisses. There was another scene in the ride, where the kids are being chased by some other kind of monster (which was also female, purple, blob shaped with spikes) and I think I remember Metaknight was chasing the monster to save the kids.

There were some other stuff that I vaguely remember. I think there was some boutiques, one of them Pokemon themed, but I didn't go into any of them. I remember during the (slow) rides, I was trying to record it on whatever device I had, but it would only record for short periods of time, which mean't I had to keep hitting record, over and over. One of the rides, had these pretty little deer made of out of light flying around.

Universal Studios, please add more Nintendo stuff to your theme parks, like Kirby and Pokemon!

Particia Tarb

Born - 2000 Gender - Female (She/Her) Race - Elf Nationality - American Sexual and Romantic Orientation - Heterosexual Dance Style - Her style, which is not a good one, to put it mildly.

The class bully. Particia comes from a wealthy family, and is under the delusion that she is better than everyone, because of her race, her wealth, and she even thinks she's a genius at dancing. She hates people who she thinks are "one of the lesser races," such as trolls, werewolves, skelemen, etc. Fortunately, Shantell always has clever comebacks for her insults, and stands up for those who Particia bullies.

Particia hates her other classmates, except for Ivan, who she has a crush on (he does not reciprocate and thinks she is a vile person.) Alot of people call her "Patricia," either out of spite or (in Marrik's case) because they have trouble pronouncing/remembering her actual name. Her parents named her that because they were trying to be "unique."
