“But because of that I have to go to prison tomorrow.”

And the night ended. Baekhyun gave Y/N a ride et dropped her off at her home, a bit upset.

Pt.1

730 days. 24 months. She had been waiting for this moment for two years. And now that it was so close, she couldn’t help but wonder about a lot of things. She wondered why he hadn’t replied to any of her letters, or any video call when he was online. He hadn’t given any sign of life since he had left for his military service. She had figured out that he wanted to focus on his mission so she hadn’t insisted that much. But she was sad. She was so sad because she had nobody beside him.

Three years ago from now, she had left her home country, her parents and her friends. She had left everything for him. But he hadn’t even told her he had to do his military service. He had told her two days before he left. Only two days.

“ Jade ? Are you in there ?”

She sighed, hearing his sister shouting her name. The older girl came into her room and greeted her playfully but Jade didn’t respond.

“Are you okay ?”

“I lied, Taeyeon.”

“What ?”

“I lied to you. About everything.”

Taeyeon sat next to Jade, ready to listen. But even if she knew what to say, she didn’t know how to say it.

“Have you heard from him ?”

“Hey honey, you know that we aren’t that close, me and him.” She chuckled.

But Jade didn’t laugh in response. She used to fake it, but not this time. She couldn’t do it anymore.

“But you… You did hear from him ? Right ?”

“I didn’t…”

“For how long ?”

“Ever since he left…”

Taeyeong’s mouth fell open. She couldn’t believe it. They had seemed so in love before he left for his duty but he hadn’t given any sign of life in forever. She didn’t know what to say so she just took Jade in her arms, trying to comfort her.

Suddenly, the door cracked open as he walked into the room. He dropped his bag onto the floor and looked coldly at his sister then at Jade.

“Leave.” He told Jade

“Hyun-Joong…”

“LEAVE !”

She stood up, tears falling down and began to pick her stuff but he stopped her harshly.

“Taeyeon will give your stuff back later. Now leave. And don’t bother me anymore.”

And Jade left, as quickly as possible. And by the time she was outside, she began to run. Why did he do this ? Why didn’t he tell me if he didn’t love me anymore ?
