With online purchases so popular now, I want to give a heads up for clients. Unfortunately I have seen a heavy rise in clients coming in with a lot of issues in their fresh or healed piercings after swapping their jewelry to inexpensive knock offs. Some going as far as labeling these pieces as high quality- '316L', '316LVM' or 'Stainless steel'. Unfortunately this is a sales gimmick and means nothing as to the quality or safety of this piece. Don't be fooled by etsy shops who buy this jewelry in bulk from China and relabel them as Handmade or High quality to turn a fast dollar. Rashes, skin discoloration (that can be permanent), extreme allergic reaction, and rusting of the jewelry while inside the body are among many things I run into often. We only carry IMPLANT grade materials from reputable manufacturers that require us to be properly licensed in facilities. Our jewelry is internally threaded and back with a lifetime guarantee of any manufacturer defects. All gems are handset as opposed to glued into place, and everything we carry is SOLID materials as opposed to plating that wears off leaving the wearer exposed to dangerous alloys. Had so much fun today piercing these outer helix and conch piercings using these beautiful clusters from @leroifinejewelry .
