Experiences Event

[PT: Experiences event. End PT]

This is an event encouraging people to share their experiences with their identities! It's focused around microlabels but can be used to discuss any aspect of identity, including but not limited to gender, race, plurality, disability, and so on.

This is not a coining event, and you do not need to be a coiner to participate! Participation just involves making a post each day of the event discussing your experiences and identity with the prompt provided. Tag us in your posts and we'll reblog them here under the "experiences" tag!

This event starts on January 29 and ends on February 12, meaning there are 14 days to it. It's completely okay to skip a day or do them all at once.

How do you organize or categorize your identity? If you don't, why don't you?

What are your experiences with names, pronouns, and other referential language? How does it relate or not relate to other aspects of your identity?

Talk about either your favourite identity term of yours or a random one that applies to you! Why is it a part of your identity, how does it apply to you?

ok so these have been changed recently so old ones do not obey the rules well

-if the first gender is male or masc, the prefix of the gender will end in -i

-if the first gender is female or fem, the prefix of the gender will end in -e

-if the first gender is a nongender or a lack of a gender (i.e agender) , the prefix of the gender will end in -y

-if the first gender is a multigender, the prefix of the gender will end in -a

-if the first gender is a xenogender, the prefix of the gender will end in -o

-mod zero can't name any of the genders sexygender

i took the 6 stripe template that @quotegender uses and upscaled it to a standard 60.5 x 36.5 inches and made it into both a PNG and PSD file! it doesn't perfectly match (the waves are slightly uneven in the original), but is symmetrical!

hiii , im sorry of u already got asked this somewhere, but how do you make ur flags ?? i’m especially curious abt the ones with the frilly sorta stripes, cause they’re really gorgeous! thanks sm !!!

Stripes like these help a lot … ! you can also recolor them or make your own ones if these aren’t enough!
