a question for my fellow autistics: do you also stop hyperfixating on something basically overnight? like you'll spend years loving it and thinking about it 24/7 and then one morning. bam. it's gone? cus i was talking about it with my dad and realized that its happened to me before with a lot of other fandoms, but it never happened to my dad? (his hyperfixations are always the same)

his come and go and he has "episodes" where he'll like something more, but there's always an underlying love? but for me it's like eating the same food for years and suddenly you can't even look at it anymore bc it makes you sick?

his first reaction to seeing it was "oh i HATE that guy" lmao, and went on to explain it's the hardest role he's done since he has dyslexia and Atmey speaks almost entirely in alliteration. anyway he said it was phenomenal and took my extra hehe ✌️^_^
