Sorry this is. Kind of a vent, I need to ramble because today was fucking awful

So like, what the fuck are you supposed to do when your therapist and family doctor both think somethings wrong with you but either dont know what/can't diagnose, and then when you finally get a psychiatrist referral they do fucking nothing? They asked maybe two questions about the thing i was reffered for, and then glossed over everything because I seemed anxious. Apparently I scored one off on one of yje tests for a fucking bpd diagnosis, which made them ADMIT something was likely wrong, but no. I get offered dbt group therapy (I'm already in dbt therapy, and didn't explain at all why the group part would be helpful), said he could recommend some meds for my doctor to give me (none of my issues I was there for have changed in the slightest with meds, and I've tried at least 10), and then said that's all he could do for me. (Also, I dont personally think its bpd going on; I'm more just baffled how he came admit the test scores indicate an issue if some kind and then doesn't do anything)

What does being anxious have to do with me dissociating so badly that I forget where I am and basic information about myself? Since when did anxiety make people "hear voices"? (I dont, I dont hallucinate, its more like multiple internal monologs that feel distinctly not like mine; but if he thought I was hearing things, wouldn't that be more concerning??)

I just dont know what to do now. It took ages to get this refferal, and I dont know if I can get another one, both in the sense of i dont know if I'm allowed to and I don't know if I can handle another 8 month wait, maybe longer. I'm so so sick of this. This is going to be such a stupid analogy, but it feels like I keep trying to throw a brick at a wall to break it. And I have no idea what the walls made of, and I dont know what it needs to break, but I've only got bricks. And when I go to the like, wall expert and be like "Hey, what's my wall made of?" They just go "hmm... bricks usually break drywall, here's more bricks. Its usually drywall. Its fine. We dont need to see what its made of." And then I stare at my wall with one million indents from bricks and cry

Got inspired by @madamadamiu 's Lost Light Cat Shelter AU and also @cryptid-stuff's addition to it, but since my introduction to LL was the Christmas special, I have a certain soft spot for Whirl and his scraplet, so even though I loved cryptid's "nest" for whirl, I thought it'd be funny if Whirl somehow aquired an actual egg of some sort with a living being inside and adopted it.

At first I thought I'd have them be some bugs (red velvet mites) on his rock "egg", but it wouldn't have made much sense from the adoption standpoint, so I started looking into brood parasites.

Turns out that sometimes canadian geese lay their eggs in the nests of other geese! And though it would make so much sense for Whirl to be a canadian goose (I've heard they're rather aggressive) this AU is not completely accurate to irl biology so it's kinda whatever anyways.
