My dad just did the craziest thing, so I’ve been really getting into this fandom recently, and he says there’s only so much content I can consume (he’s wrong by the way) so I pull the “I bet there’s fanfic card) because little does he know that I’ve been reading fanfics for a looongg time (5 years )and it’s not my first encounter with it so I smugly pull it up and tell him that’s there’s 23k fics, and the conversation just devolves into me looking up the number of fics in a fandom to shock him

then he says he needs to go do other stuff but he still wishes me goodnight and good reading, and also tells me to use some sort of system to sort the most popular fics, like ooohhh boy he does not know what’s in those stories ( ff writers heads)

I swear the first time I watched the Les Mis (2012) movie, the moment that scene with grandpapa gillenormand ( I can’t spell ) came up, and he said that Marius was a disgrace etc etc, I legit went out loud omg I bet he has sooo much trauma and daddy issues, and then I ran to go read fanfic

as we can see from like every clip ever, Marc is totally fine high fiving random people, but the moment he sees any mascot whatsoever, be it the Michelin man or anybody else, Marc just like quickly walks past them, and doesn’t high five them unlike every other rider
