I think people in the life series fandom should be able to post rarepairs without people questioning them on why you ship them. Same reason why you ship your popular ships, I like them.

This has been bugging me for a while since I've been asked 100s of times on why I ship snowbugs. Like I didn't really mind answering it, it just got annoying after the 100th time. I've also had people ask me "oh have they teamed up before?" when asking why I ship them, last I checked them teaming up wasn't a requirement to ship them. I know people asking these questions are just curious but I just wanna be able to ship something just because I like it and not be constantly questioned about it

random idea for gemidarity. . (writing under the cut!)

(this takes place during esmp 2 btw!!)

gem had planned this since she realized that she liked jimmy, her only set back was. . well. . jimmy himself, he'd bother her constantly. but in an endearing way! she never minded it and she never will, her main focus was on jimmy almost every day. his voice was always in the back of her mind, any time she was building she'd hear his praise "that looks great, gem!" or "woah, this looks. . amazing!" stuff like that. she never realized how much she would become so flustered at the compliments to her builds. . not until a few days later after she had paid a visit to jimmy's! when he complimented her, he'd notice the blushing, comment on it and she said that it was hot in the base, then leave out the door to "get some fresh air"

gem and jimmy secretly started dating one day because they realized that they had feelings for each other a few days prior. both confessed in the most weirdest way ever!

when she decided to confess, oh gods, how would she have done that?! jimmy isn't a specific person, which she loved about him, but that made things so much more difficult! what if he didn't like it?! gem sighed before gathering things up, mostly for a picnic at her base! it was a nice day out, so why not? it's a simple thing, nothing too wild or extravagant, hopefully he likes it. .

later that day, around 2pm, jimmy came around gem's base, she had invited him over. he stumbled upon her sitting on a blanket, in the middle of a clear field at her base. . she looked beautiful in the sunlight, jimmy couldn't help but blush! he was so embarrassed that he was still in his work uniform! gem giggled at his facial expression, she never minded what he wore

"you look beautiful, gem. ." the compliment made gem now blush, gods how can he do this to her?! he always manages to surprise her with different compliments each and every day! "um. . thanks jimmy! you look handsome, yourself!" she smiled, it was bright, almost as bright as the sun that gleamed down on her, it's like the sun gave her that brightness.

they had small banter after that exchange, a few minutes later though, gem had gone silent. she really wanted to confess, but. . jimmy is right there! don't get her wrong, that's a good thing! but, not for her heart, which was practically pounding out of her chest. what this man does to her is insane.

"gem? are you alright?" jimmy's voice was soft, it almost didn't register to her ears, but gem did look at jimmy before taking a sharp inhale then a soft exhale. . "jimmy, we've been friends for quite a while now, i know that i might not be your type or even someone you'd consider dating, but would you—" she was cut off with lips on hers. . it was jimmy, her eyes were shot wide as she processed that, jimmy just. . KISSED HER?! she wasn't even mad about it, she eventually melted into it, kissing him back. . they were like that for a few more moments before jimmy pulled away

"yes, yes i'll date you!" his voice cracked a bit, he was just a bit too excited about this. . gem had sparkles in her eyes "great. ."

they then spent the rest of the day at gem's, cuddling! 🫶🏻

can y'all tell that i absolutely love giving characters "abnormal" nose types instead of the basic button nose? (no hate to button nose people! i gave grian one (kind of))

i feel like it needs to be said that i literally give jimmy and mumbo fun noses cause i love them sm 🫶🏻 (i call c!mumbo my bbg now thanks to my partner accidentally reading that one time 😭)

i also try and stay away from the typical nose types because i HATE when noses aren't appreciated enough :( get funky with it people!! :D there is no shame in having an "abnormal" nose. people don't appreciate different noses enough for my taste, i can understand if you have a specific style btw, and i don't mean those people who are like "i can't draw plus sized people cause i can't learn!!" i mean those who have a specific style (ex; anime-like). also, people irl have these kinds of noses and i appreciate them because they're so unique + beautiful to look at! noses are hard to draw sometimes, and i get it. . i have to redo noses all the time! (i have a drawing of me and my partner's mc oc's below to show that i give different noses to different chars! small warning for s/h scars and other scars on mine btw!!)
