New Year New Me(mes)

Hey everyone. It’s been almost a year since my last blog post and I’ll get into details as to why. But first, I’m gonna link to my sideblog here:

If you were one of my followers who liked all the funny stuff I’ve reblogged before, go ahead and follow this blog too. This is going to be my sideblog where I put all of my reblogs.

The reason for that is simple. I need two blogs.

See, the truth is that I never really wanted a Tumblr in the first place, much less a social media account. I was peer pressured into getting one because I did sort of need contact with some people IRL. Well, the short of it is, I don’t talk to those people anymore, which led to me abandoning just about most of my social media accounts. Even now, there’s very little I want to be online for.

Unfortunately, I’m a creative person. I have been since I was a kid. I always wanted to make my own pokemon, or yu-gi-oh! cards, I wrote my own fanfics, they weren’t very good, but it was something I did that I wanted to show people. Now that I’m 30 years old, that feeling still hasn’t went away, which is why I still have a Tumblr after all this time.

So I told myself, if I’m gonna restart my Tumblr, I’m gonna need to lay some ground rules. Back when I reblogged endlessly, I treated it like a chore. I did the quick reblog through my dashboard, passing over posts I didn’t care much for, reblogging and adding some brilliantly funny commentary ifIdosaysomyselftongueincheek. But it was still a chore, and I hate chores. It made it hard for my blog to be about both my creations and my reblogs, of whcih I did a lot of reblogs. 

And that’s where the sideblog comes into play.

So here’s how it’s gonna work. This main blog will still be here, where I will post only things I’ve made, written, drawn (maybe), cobbled together, and all sorts of things like that. If you like that sort of material, great. Keep following this blog. If not, feel free to unfollow.

However, if you liked my funny reblogs and important posts exposing how awful the world can be, follow my side blog as I have linked it above. It doesn’t look like much because I just made it 10 minutes ago, but I’ll clean it up and make it look presentable, maybe. I was never one for investing my time to making a pretty blog.

Also, I have a Twitter account. It’s a new one. I deleted my old one. Here:

On my old one, I posted sick gameplay clips and I did a live tweet of Final Fantasy 3 and Final Fantasy 9. Expect more of the same with this new Twitter, since it’s the only place I can post clips from my Switch anyway.

I’ll also be getting back into writing on this blog. My old fanfiction.net account is still up and running, but I will cross-post here when new works are published. I don’t know if I’ll have time for major works, but I’m hoping to get some stuff done this year. 

And it goes without saying that I will be making drabbles and requests exclusive to this blog (unless Tumblr dies in which case I’ll compile them and publish them on my ff.net account).

That about does it. I’ll update my bio later with more information, but for now, just know that I’m not dead yet. I just like the anonymity of my reclusive online presence.

It very nice to hear from CandyFubblegum ..... I'm also not as active anymore.

I find your theories about fubblegum absolutely legit. Just leave the canon ship, the show has taken the other route. Btw, you still hang around on tumblr.

I love this art and the fanfiction

It's Stature, Finn 🙄

I read this fic where Bonnie tried climbing a mountain to get away from her reckless home life and met Ice Finn before she could freeze to death. It was good. 5 chapters, and unfinished, but good. Finn was gonna grab her some science shit to be a good host having already given her his cape and stuff and she was gonna study him and eventually climb the rest of the mountain. Let's say that's what's happening here.

If fubblegum ever happened I think Finn would slowly develop a sophisticated vocabulary from spending so much time with PB. He'd still suck at math but math sucks so I wouldn't blame him
