Hello everyone,
I want to take a moment to share my story and what I’ve been going through. Over the past month, I’ve been looking for support through social media and other platforms, but unfortunately, I haven’t had much luck. It’s been a personal struggle—not just emotionally, but also discouraging when it feels like there’s nowhere else to turn.
Last year, I was scammed by someone I met online who claimed to be collecting donations for a charity home. At the time, I was in a vulnerable state, and they took advantage of that. They sent me a fake check and offered no real explanation. I’m grateful they didn’t manage to get more money from me, but it still hurts deeply. That money was hard-earned while I was attending community college, and losing it was a major setback.
Right now, I’m still actively job searching. I’ve had a few onsite interviews, but finding remote work has been especially difficult. Meanwhile, the bills keep piling up—rent, food, phone, water, car insurance—and it’s been overwhelming trying to manage it all on my own.
That’s why I’m sharing this post: to tell my story and hopefully connect with others who’ve been through something similar. If you're able to support in any way, even just $1, it would mean the world to me. I’ve started a GoFundMe with a goal of $450 to help cover my essential bills. Every little bit helps, and I truly appreciate your time and kindness.
