i love it when one of the protagonists reveals they used to know the antagonist and is like "we were close friends..."

and then we get prequels/revealed backstory and find out that the "close friendship" was them being practically married, most likely fucking a few times, commiting war crimes together, getting a divorce that resulted in at least one third party death, and then having this weird homoerotic rivalry for several decades

So, when someone sneezes over here, you say "Gesundheit", which some of you in the states do too, apparently.

Anyways, the first time Erik says that out of habit when Charles sneezes, Charles wonders what his boyfriend is saying, so google translate get's involved.

And Charles finds out that Erik is basically yelling "HEALTH!" at him like in a fucking video game when you're trying to revive someone but this fuck just keeps dying.

Anyways, thought it'd be a funny interaction, how Charles was worried that something happened with Erik that he keeps doing that, if he's chanting some spell or something, peter, despite full and well understanding the language, encourages Charles' spectations and goes along with it.

Till one day wanda comes to visit and when she heard about it, deadpan tells Charles what it means, and that it's totally normal.

It becomes and inside joke eventually, so that peter sometimes yells "HEALTH!" at them when they're sick and they just can't do anything about it.

(I'm sorry that I can't come up with anything better, I'm sick myself rn so this was the best thing I could make up.)
