If your partner just randomly disappeared, how long would you look for them?

Until I no longer breathe. I do not believe I would be able to move on if he simply vanished. I would need answers. I'd have hope he wasn't gone gone. That he'd come back. I'd be the person decades down the line, when he's still missing that would talk to media for a documentary or an interview in the hopes that I can rattle the cold case for new information. Anything that may help me find him.

I don't let go easily and him vanishing would send me into a spiral, and then it would become a mission to find my person no matter what.

Do you believe in soulmates?

I can honestly say that I didn't. What people consider soul mates was just attraction; lust, hormones, and ultimately sex. It may feel like more than that but with time it would fade and you'd either settle or move on.

Having said that, though, I look at my relationship now. How we are now and that we have been that from the start and I can't help but think that maybe that cynical view I held was wrong. It seems to me that there is a touch of fate and "simply meant to be" with Nikolas and I.

I have no authority to say if it is or isn't real but I am much more of a believer than I was.

Do people's reactions to this upcoming eclipse on the 8th feel a little Y2K-y to you? Because people seem to be freaking out.... 🙄

Are you concerned about traveling on a bus with your baby? Or traveling this much in general?

Of course I have worries around our son and traveling but the amount of travel isnt one of them. I believe him being exposed and experiencing so many different places is a good thing. Or will be a good thing.

No my fears usually revolve around safety and sickness. Granted the bus safety element has given me pause but I'm sure it will all be ok. People RV with babies it's not unheard of. Besides he's handled the traveling as well as a baby can and there is a whole team here that is looking out for his well-being outside of Nikolas and I.

Rest assured if anything grew unsafe, or a legitimate travel concern for our son arose we would reassess and change things as we go. His well-being is a top priority.

Did your husband cry at your wedding?

There was welling. I don't know if that counts as a cry but we both got teary eyed at parts in the ceremony.
