Firsts.

It comes to a point when you just decided to do something spontaneous one day & learned something new about yourself.

Did house chores in the morning; cleaned my room, changed sheets, did some laundry, organized some stuff in the house, cooked lunch/early dinner & washed the dishes then cleaned some more. I also had a sudden trip to the hardware store to buy a replacement for the broken fixture from my lola's bathroom. I just had to have the initiative to do it. Mom's pretty loaded with work & I guess those kind of things are in my responsibility now. After dropping off the new fixture at home, I decided to check out the newly opened mall, Fairview Terraces. I checked every floor, wandered around & took note of the "soon to open" boutiques. Gosh I felt ecstatic! The mall looked promising. The ambiance feels like Trinoma which is really great! I really like going to Trinoma, than SM Malls simply because I love gardens. After finishing my window shopping slash tour, I decided to hang out at Gong Cha. It was my first time ever to stay at a milk tea place, alone. I mean, EVER. Ang saya pala, seriously. At first, I feel awkward since I was not that prepared for that kind of moment. I didn't bring any thing to read, left my headset at home, & even my planner because again, it was a spur-of-the-moment decision. A few minutes passed, I got the hang of it. A large cup of Earl Grey Milk Tea with Grass Jelly & my phone kept me company for at least an hour. I watched passers by outside & inside the store. Yeah, so basically that's what I did for an hour. May sound boring to others but the milk tea tasted amazing & I made it last longer than 10 minutes (I drink too fast, I swear). Then I realized, kaya ko pala tumambay ng mag-isa. I don't know why but I feel refreshed. It is quite different from my hang outs after every run during mornings, given that I run at the park with trees, butterflies & everything else about nature. I really felt good. I'm sorry if this post may sound "sabaw" or "mababaw". I just had to share this here. Another first I guess? xo, Karen PS: I might be going back to blogging, dear readers. :)

Hello Anon! Sorry but I can't really teach you how to do it. I had this cursor for almost 3 years now and I remember I just googled steps on how to do it. I'm sorry I wasn't able to help. :(

'Tis the season to be jolly, falalalala la la la la.... Hi there my dear readers, long time no post ei? How are you? Putting aside the fact that gold looks good on my skin tone, ( I have a warm undertone) gold is just classy and timeless. Agree? If you are following me on twitter or on Facebook, you'd prolly seen these stuff popping out on my wall every now and then. The Ben Nye Banana Luxury Powder and the Real Techniques Powder Brush were just additional to the "theme" (or maybe I really did mean to include it because I'm being a kuripot that I don't want to but them myself. hahaha!) xo, Karen

HK-Macau Trip 2013: Madame Tussauds

We woke up at 6 am and headed to the Victoria Peak to visit Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum.

Upon entering the museum, you will be immediately starstrucked! I met a lot of stars that day! Nicole Kidmad was the first one I saw. She was so tall! Okay so, I am talking like they were the real living persons but trust me, they really looked REAL! *_*

The souvenir shop at the end of the museum. We really did have fun at the museum! It was a superb experience I tell you. There were other celebrities at the museum but most of them were chinese nationals whom I really don't know about. The ticket for adult costed 202.50 HKD (Approx. 1,215PHP) a little pricey but surely it was worth it! Too bad I was not able to have a photo taken with IRON MAN because I got occupied with HULK. Boo! The Streets of Hong Kong

If you are going to ask me about the countries that I wanted to visit more often, I would answer, Hong Kong. As far as I remember, it was the first ever country I visited when I was just a kid. Having the privilege to visit again this country, definitely brings me joy and nostalgia.

From it's busy streets, up to it's long line of shopping areas where you can bargain big time, who would not dig those? #shopaholic

Up to the massive skyline and accessible transportations.
