My AO3 Dumps

Ummm.. I know it's been a while I logged in to my Tumblr account. I just forgot that I have it and mostly spent my days scrolling through Twitter.

This post is dedicated to AO3 fics I've been reading the past few years as you can read from the title. FYI, I've been lurking deep to the site since 2014 and I never know how many fics I've read.

I will compile all my fave fics to this post from various fandoms, mostly K-pop fandoms. Please bear in mind that I only read bxb fics. And all these fics are completed.

I will divide into some posts based on the fandoms, so it will be easier for me to add more fics in the future.

Dear Anon,

It would probably be best to ask a Chinese fan or at the very least someone who is a member of the NeverEnd site.  Unfortunately I don’t belong to any fandom sites other than the Official BigEast fan club, because I don’t speak Chinese or Korean so I can’t navigate those sites.  The cursed life of an iFan.

From what I saw on Twitter, no reason was stated on Twitter.  NeverEnd has been a Changmin-dedicated fansite photographer who has followed him & his activities since they were 5 members.

I see that NeverEnd will be offering a series of 4 DVDs and a photobook as her final project.  I don’t know her.  I never met her personally. And while I am very tempted to purchase a photobook, I don’t find any value to the DVD projects. I have purchased from several other sites in the past, and I play them once and then either put them on shelf forever collecting dust or toss them. I much prefer photobooks, but photobooks are more expensive to make.  That means that she must charge more money and have upfront money for production, which is usually obtained via pre-orders.

Although this is no reflection on NE herself since I don’t know her, I would say that if you are ordering from ANY site that is closing, you are doing so at your own risk, because there is no way to get your money back once they close, if anything goes awry with the order.

As for UknowProportion, there is no reason to think that fansite has closed. From my limited knowledge, I only started to see her awesome photos of Yunho after his enlistment in 2015.  She has been a god-sent, and we haven’t seen any new photos because PFC Jung Yunho hasn’t had any performances recently.

I actually had to go and check what you were talking about because I get that a lot from people… 

But hey, I stand by my previous point – If I am sad then I must make others sad as well. 

Also I mean, it’s not that SAD. I’ve certainly said SADER. 

I mean, Bard died at age 79, he was 38 during BOTFA so they only had 43 years together at best. 43 years of knowing one another. That’s as good as a day in the life of an Elf. 

For Bard it’s easy, falling in love again, but he has to sit and watch as Thranduil never ages whilst each day he find more and more grey hairs. He might joke that he’ll become as Silver as Thranduil given time but sooner or later he stares in the mirror and his face is lined and crinkled. His back is soar and he finds walking difficult without a crutch. He has to smile and joke through it all because it hurts him just as much to see Thranduil looking so young and pure when he feels so old. 

To Thranduil it’s like they said, he’s a shooting star. But worse than that a shooting star will stay vibrant and magnificent as it passes through. And of course that’s who Bard is to him. He’s a magnificent moment, a fantastical break from the pain Thranduil has suffered. Let us not forget how the death of his wife left him jaded and isolated to the world. Left him holding onto bitterness. Bard helped sap that from him, bought joy back into his life. Made him re-enter the world away from the darkness of Mirkwood.

But unlike a shooting star, bard ages and withers before his eyes in the blink of an eye. A shooting star stays young before it disappears, but he must watch his star fade away, to age second by second until death comes for him. It must have hurt so much to see him like that. Hurt Thranduil to spot new evidence everyday of his Love’s Mortality. 

Thranduil never sailed when it came to the end, because he’d already been pushed out under the waves. How could he leave the place where so much happiness had occurred for what might be an eternal life? Better to stay in the place where memories are held, where he can see Bard’s decedents live out their lives in his legacy, than to once again remove himself from their world. A world Bard had helped him to renter out of his own darkness. 

Their love was bright and as pure as Starlight. However it was a quick and as painful as drowning.

I have always liked this scene, even back in the cinema when the beauty of Barduil was but a whisper in my mind, but its overall beauty and significance was a little lost on me because, well, cinema screen, Dolby surround, 3D… you know how you tend to get overwhelmed by the sheer mass of impressions. But back home, with the DVD in my greedy little hands, it hit me. Hard.

Apart from the look Bard and Thranduil exchange when Gandalf starts talking (“oh no, and here he goes again”) and how Thranduil snaps back to attention… can we please appreciate the fact that Thranduil, high and mighty and aloof and generally unpleasant towards pretty much everything and everyone un-Elvish, very casually pours a cup for Bard and offers it to him without any pretty formalities at all? This, and the aforementioned LOOK they share, speaks volumes.

And that’s when I started shipping them. And now I can’t go back. Which is fine. Really. It is. Fine.

Happy Valentine’s Day!!! Here is an AU that inspired by Erin Morgenstern’s novel “The Night Circus”. The story of this AU isn’t based on the book because…I haven’t even finished reading half of the novel…yet. But it reminds me of how much I used to love mysterious circus theme haha 8′)))

Charles had always heard about The Night Circus that only performed a few times every year, but he couldn’t go because he was too young. At sixteen, he got his first invitation and went to see if it was up to his expectation from all those year waiting.
