Welcome to the Enstars Edit Roulette.
Also known as, I’m in a bit of a rut with my editmaking and I want to branch out from my comfort zone into new creative territory, so I made myself a little challenge to help with that.
How It Works:
Whack the random button on Colourpod a few times until I find a palette that I like! I’m not quite willing to make it entirely random — if I don’t like the colors I get, I doubt I’ll have much fun working with them, y’know?
Spin the Wheel of Idols to determine who is fated to sport those colors.
Make them icons!
I’m sticking with icons for now because I’m not really confident in my ability to make anything else. Maybe one day I’ll learn all the fancy tricks, but for now I want to push the boundaries of what I already know and see if anything new will come of it. The main goal is mostly to pair fun colors with characters I wouldn’t normally associate them with, hopefully in interesting ways. Also, it makes sure that every idol gets a turn instead of just my favorites. Without this, we’d probably be seeing nothing but the Aoi twins in various pink and blue palettes until my hyperfixation runs out of steam. Or possibly the end of time. Whichever comes first.
Anyway, I hope everyone enjoys this little excursion, or at least some of the edits that will come from it! I’d best get to work now, so I’ll see you soon with the first batch~
