did they really take all the russian voice acting out of the new "remastered" stalker games? that's not even "we wanted to emphasise Ukrainian in our new game because of the war" that's just making pre-existing games worse. plenty of people in Ukraine speak russian, to my knowledge the russian language voice actors in the first games were Ukrainians.

I get that it's a sensitive topic because of the war but that just seems pointlessly nationalistic in a way that seems to stoke the "they mistreat russian speakers in Ukraine" propaganda and doesn't really help anyone.

(although at the end of the day it is gamers being mad about things so i don't massively care. the removal of soviet symbols is also dumb but it's weird everyone is focusing on that instead of the voice acting)

Today russia killed three children in my hometown, injured at least 12 more and destroyed more than 30 houses. I know this will be just one more statistics to foreign people (because ukrainians get killed every day by the hands of russians) and I don't know what to say because I'm too shaken to properly react I think. No one deserves to die because russians want their imperialistic and genocidal delusions fulfilled. No one deserves to lose their home generation after generation - because russians think that you don't deserve any.

I don't have any wise words so I'm asking you to support Ukraine as you can by spreading awareness, reaching your representatives or donating or anything really.

While trump was claiming that putin is "ready to sign a peace deal" (=capitulation of Ukraine with no security guarantees for the future), how Ukraine is "being difficult to deal with and doesn't want peace as much as russia does", russia was launching cruise missiles and drones into Ukrainian homes.

While russia just peacefully wants to genocide us, praised by the US government, residents of the Ukrainian city of pokrovsk are forced to bury their neighbors, who died from artillery strikes, right in their yards, because no funeral or other services can operate under the constant fire from the russian side.
