Extension on the theory about mirabel being the next matriarch going around.

Ok so let’s say mirabel will be the next matriarch. Alma had a symbol of power it was the candle. If  Mirabel will be the matriarch her symbol would be the house it’s self, which i think rapresents the ways they work aorund the family and plot pretty well.

Abuela has the candel, it burns bright, but it will eventually run out. It was forshadowing, the way she ran things would not last for long, it would eventually all burn out.

Mirabels symbol would be the house. The house is as strong as it is built. If it has strong fuandation, walls etc. then it will last forever. But it will always need some mantainance as the years pass, you can’t let it be without care. Just like a family.

Just a thought.
