Character Reference Sheet (Turnaround)
I said like... "these are the last three" two polls ago, but, alas, more projects spawn and these turnarounds are so handy to have as reference so.
Let me know which one I should focus on first! Aka which one you'd like to see the most!

Hey! I was just curious how you do such nice panels in your comics! If you didn't mind, could you give a small rundown? Mostly on getting a good size and getting it to sit straight.
Hello, Anon! Great question. I don't know how comprehensible this is going to be, so don't be afraid to shoot me another ask if you have questions.
Firstly, good panel sizing all depends on the idea you're trying to express. The rule I've been told, and do my best to follow, is that the longer you want the audience to look at a panel, the bigger it should be on the page and vice versa for smaller panels. Length and width variations from there all depends on what you want to go on in the panel or, occasionally, what will fit alongside the other panels. This is where you get into page layouts. The best way to learn how to layout comic pages is to study the comics you like and pay attention to their shapes, size, and what fits inside them. You'll develop an eye for what looks right.
Getting paneling straight is as simple as using a ruler if you're on paper. I work completely digitally, though. So here's how I do it.
I start with the grid layout on the far left I created that semi-matches the official standard for comic sizing. The outermost line tells me what might get cut off the page if the page was to go to print as well as where NOT to put text bubbles while the inner line is what I use as a guide for panel edges (I think your not technically supposed to put text outside the inner line either, but I do sometimes cos I'm a rebel).
In the very early sketch from Issue 2, Page 3 of my Sonic Boom Revisited Comic we can see this rule in effect. None of the panels break out from that inner line. However, for Issue 3, Page 1 you can see where I broke this rule to emphasize certain panels. You'll notice, however, that only the top, bleeding panel (a panel that is not bordered on all sides. It bleeds off the page) is the only one that goes beyond the outer guideline.
The guides is how I get the panels to stay in alignment. But, by "sitting straight" you also probably meant the lines themselves. In most art programs you can hold down a key, for me it's shift, to draw a completely straight vertical or horizontal line. Some programs even allow diagonals. This is a good way to create straight paneling. However, I personally like using the shape tool. If you're in a program such as photoshop or clip studio paint, it make look something like this:
This tool lets you create perfect straight edged squares. There are other tools you can then use to manipulate those square into different shapes with four edges such as diamonds and trapezoids. Drawing programs also have grid locks that will sync your shape heights to each other so they stay in a straight row. It doesn't work with horizontal length, though. That you just have to eyeball or use the grid above to keep everything relatively symmetrical.
And that's pretty much it. If there's something I missed, or you'd like a more in depth explanation on anything touched on here, don't be afraid to reach out! :)

Thanks for the tag, Star!
This is probably no surprise: Metal Sonic.
His internal conflict and motivation is real juicy. Him believing, or at least striving, to be the real Sonic while doing everything that is counter to the real Sonic? Love.
Tagging @niyana-the-ambiguous-mobian and @mama-qwerty
felt like starting a tag game: favourite sonic villain and why you adore them
I’ll start: zeena, cause she’s an absolute badass

Sticks Turnaround to come soon. I will be making two versions. A Boom Variant and a Mainline Variant. Because, lo and behold, Sticks shrinks 3 whole inches in Mainline meaning her proportions are slightly different!

Sonic Mini-Comic: "Shadow Generations: Chaos Island"
After about three weeks it's finally done! A short portfolio piece! Any of you who've been following me long enough know that the prospect of Sonic and Shadow meeting on Chaos Island intrigued me. Finally put words into story. I hope you enjoy!
Special thanks to @wnacn for assisting in developing a stellar script for this short comic! It was a blast working with her and you should all go read her comic Hazard Horizons!

Sometimes the problem with having a hyperfixation is you'll be in the middle of working on one project, thinking about a completely different project you got on the backlog, which will then generate ideas that spiral into a new thing™️--AKA, a potential 147th project.
I know my moots love it when I tell them these ideas but the amount of times they also take me by the hand and say, "Don't burn yourself out!" makes me feel like they are also quietly sobbing every time I say, "Hey! That got me thinking..." Because they know I will dedicate myself to that 148th project at the same time I'm also dedicating myself to the other 147th if they don't stop me.
It's just unfortunate their pleas only incite more violence against the blorbos. He is now on fire.

Oh Gosh! My year old stuff is so... old! Haha! Probably this one! Though I would definitely approach the colors differently today!
I did this as a chapter header for a fic I was writing at the time! :)
@astrophysician @wnacn

The only context I'm getting is that Star managed to get your credit card info, posed as Eggman and bought a whole bunch of scrap metal and boxed egg lunches in order to "assert world dominant on humanity"
Sure sure. Totally. It's not just that I'm thrown into uncontrollable fits of laugher every time I see or think of that screenshot of Eggman.
I don't have a problem.
Stop looking at me.
