Yeah, i was just wondering because i recently rewatched the movie Sinners and in it the vampires bite to kill to turn, so once you die you turn, but if they don’t hit any vital arteries then the chances of you bleeding out..

The thrall thing does seem most plausible, but on top of that I’m thinking if it’s not the blood loss that kills you it could be the bacteria, vampire or not the mouth contains a ton of bacteria, and that’s without assuming some sort of paralytic venom or neurotoxin is within its saliva

I always think of a vampire bite similar to that of a mosquito or a horse fly, I imagine older vampires are able to produce SOME amount of anti coagulate and numbing agent in their saliva, but I don’t think younger vampires would be able to do that.. I wonder if the stake through the heart thing is just because the heart needs to be destroyed and anything will do so long as it pierces the heart or if it NEEDS to be a stake.. you could stab one in the heart with a silver knife or pierce it with a silver bullet.. do the brains need to remain intact?

I guess the heart would be most important to destroy due to the vampires bloodsucking nature and the heart being the blood pumper but still.. Christ someone should really work out the biology of a vampire

What do you think happens if a Vampire bites you (assuming the vampire bite is what kills you and once you die you turn) and you survive?

A vampire can bite you and not turn you. They can feed off of you and leave you alive but weakened from blood loss, turn you into a thrall, like Renfield in Dracula or kill you outright by draining you to the point of lethal blood loss but to turn you they need to give you their blood. That's technically how Theo was turned. She was already dying when her sire (Sir Francis Varney) found her and he turned her to save her life thinking it would be a good deed.

Do you know how on American television (I can’t speak from experience cause this never existed in France ) from the late 1960s through the late 1990s there were PSA at certain hours (10 pm and 11pm I think ) where they’d say “ITS 10 PM DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOUR CHILDREN ARE?” To remind parents to check on their kids ?

Now imagine Tenna using this PSA more then usually in front of Toriel and Asgore when they’re in a rough argument so he can basically go “HEY REMEMBER YOU HAVE KIDS SO STOP FIGHTING PLEASE!” But because their arguing were so loud they didn’t listen and it was only heard by Kris ?

That would be fucked up huh ?

Cause Tenna would really try to stop the fighting and all but couldn’t do anything about it .

Knowing something that big exists is daunting, but it’s huge, the universe isn’t empty in any way, just in the way that we can see

Any of the Motley crew have minor inconvenience conditions?

Like — for example me and my brother deal with hyperhydrosis (to varying levels of severity) just something that gets in the way but isn’t serious enough to warrant much more than (in my case) drying your hands on your shirt (and carrying more than one to school)

I have some crew members who have major conditions but I haven't given much thought to minor ones. I would say Watson probably has creaky knees and a bad back. Larry has a sensitive stomach and has gastrointestinal symptoms when he's upset. Edward gets dry chapped skin around his nails and knuckles from all of the chemicals he handles. It can split and be kind of painful so it's not uncommon to see his fingers wrapped in bandages or him applying a balm or ointment to moisturize his skin.
