Had to pick option 4 because they have the original Simpsons pinball game at my local arcade and I've wasted actual hours there since the place opened

Blood Meridian was so challenging it took me almost an entire month and a half to read it. I think I followed along with the story fine enough but I'm not sure McCarthy's writing style is really suited to my level of dyslexia. I definitely struggled with this one in a way I haven't struggled with reading since high school but I felt a major sense of accomplishment after finishing.

More than a year and a half later and every time I turn on an old Archer episode I expect hulu to show me that little ad telling me when he'll return 😔

Because of the heat waves I ended up really struggling to focus in June. I think I started and put down about three other books. Of course the two that I did end up finishing were spectacular for very different reasons. Everyone should genuinely read The Murderbot Diaries, it's even better than the show.

Highlights from Midnight Sun:

-Edward using WD-40 on Bella's window so he could sneak in without disturbing her

-The absolute dead silence during the majority of the meadow scene

-Edward & Rosalie freaking out over a dying Emmett & burying themselves in mud, then Edward trying to bond with Rosalie over the mud 50 years later

-Finding out James got so close to killing Bella because Jasper couldn't figure out how to pay his parking pass

*none of these instances were written as jokes
