I hate to say this but I don't really like the revival recording for the wiz. Some of the songs are OK but overall it's just so lackluster. I want to like it so much but I just can't.

I get a little misty eyed thinking about how some like it hot specifically had a part for a black transfem person. It just feels so special and it's a small thing but I'm so happy this musical exists.

As much as I love little shop, I just can't get over how many good songs they cut which is why it's not my fav movie musical. Still definitely good though

People who hate on cats the musical for having very little plot seem to have forgotten that that's not even that abnormal. Like I know most shows nowadays have a pretty coherent plot but there are so many examples of musicals being kind of vague but still well liked

Yknow how when you talk to people like 60+ years old who trust you, they'll just kinda tell you crazy shit sometimes? Well a chorus member today told me he hooked up with Sondheim while they worked in the same theater in the 60s/70s and I thought he was joking but he gave a lot of detail and I don't know what to do with this information

Im not a fan of dear evan hansen just in general so I'm not exactly ecstatic about the gay mens chorus I'm in singing for forever for the upcoming concert but I am happy we were able to change the lyrics to make it gay so. I've got that at least

I know he hasn't been in the production long, but if anyone has any footage of Kevin Del Aguila as Mushnik in the current off Broadway production of little shop of horrors I would absolutely love to see it
