Update

Hello all,

I was NOT good at posting on here this past year and for that I am sorry. My academic performance was subpar (not failing, but by my own standards) and I made the mistake of dating. I am now no longer dating, and ready to tackle the summer semester and give it my all. This should be my last year if all goes to plan! I hope to start posting more on this blog, including photos of notes and bullet journal spreads.

I found out I will be graduating a year early!! Also, will likely be studying aboard next year!!

Is there anyone who has experience with masters degrees and applications for UK/Ireland schools who would be able to talk to me about it one day? I’m fairly stressed. It’s always been my dream to live in the UK or Ireland, and the chance to finally make it happen is crazy!

Does anyone have any advice on how they take notes on Ancient Greek? I have such a hard time taking notes on languages

I did finally get my hands on a translation for Christmas and actually read it, instead of just hearing it, so I’m absolutely ready!

Let’s try again this semester- last semester my personal life got really messy but hopefully this semester goes better!

We start back up on the 22nd, but I’m gonna start doing some reading for research soon!!

I got a part time job for this semester where I can do homework while I work, and and doing an undergraduate research paper to present at a symposium!

Monday, September 4th

Move-in was last Thursday and I am comfortably situated in my dorm and have made some good friends. It has been a good time so far but I am more than ready for classes to start, I came here to learn, not sit around.

Most of my classes have already posted their syllabus, though not my Intro to Classical Mythology, which is stressful because it is my second class tomorrow, but I am sure it will be fine. I have yet to meet anyone else here who is a Classics major, but we will see who I meet in classes.

I hope to update most days to hold myself accountable, but I don't know what time will allow for.
