i’d marry you with paper rings by evansbuck_ley
“Erm, Tommy?” “Yes baby.” “Why do you have someone named husband in your phone? Are you married? Oh my god, am I in love with an adulterer? Am I your mistress, Tommy?” Buck began rambling, panic evident in his voice. His mind was going a mile a minute, had he really spent 8 months falling in love with someone who was married? And now Tommy was laughing, he’s laughing. “Evan, it’s you.” Tommy replied, coming to place his hands on Buck’s hips. Buck shot him a confused look, titling his head in a way that Tommy found utterly adorable. “What?” He questioned. Tommy pulled him closer, his arms coming to wrap around his waist. Buck’s hands came to rest on his chest, his left hand landing right on top of his heart. “Husband, is you darling.” aka tommy is disgustingly in love with buck

you, me and baby make three by evansbuck_ley
“Have you got something to tell me? Because I know I’m good, but I’m not that good.” Buck could feel his eyebrows knit together out of his confusion before he turned back around to face his husband. There he stood, at the other side of the kitchen island, with an equally confused look on his face. In his hands he held the navy blue baby onesies. On the front “My Dada is cooler than your Dada” was written in bold white letters with small cartoon helicopters hovering around the body of text. “Oh that!” Buck spoke cheerfully, a grin broke out on his face as he did. He stopped the task at hand and manoeuvre around the island until they were face to face. He pressed a gentle kiss on his husband’s cheek as he took the onesie out of his grasp. “I saw it while I was shopping for Jee’s birthday present. I thought it was worth buying for you know…” “Know what sweetheart?” “Potential future use.” aka buck really, really wants a baby

Give Me a Chance to Say What I Mean by SleepingBooty
During his 1.0 f-boy era, Buck accidentally sets his preference to men and women on his dating app. When he receives a flirty dm from a certain LAFD pilot he knows he should just delete the messages, but he just can’t seem to help himself from messaging Tommy back.

Daughter of the Sea by Triskel_Samulet
As soon as the baby was placed in Buck’s hands, he knew his life was never going to be the same. She was so small and precious and resilient. And her mother literally tried to flush her away. “We don’t go past the glass doors,” Bobby said, “Our work is done and now it’s the doctor’s job.” But that didn’t feel right. He had no problem passing off any other patient. But that baby… she needed someone who loved her and would care for her.

I’ll Be Better When I’m Older, I’ll Be the Greatest Fan of Your Life by tinaisgay
Buck and Tommy are an old married couple now, raising a family together and doing the damn thing, and though life is often full of complications, they wouldn’t have it any other way.
Or the man who thought he would always be too much and the man who thought he would never be enough get the happily ever after they both deserve.

Spilled Milk by peppermintquartz
Buck feels the edge of the counter digging into the side of his hip as he shrinks away from Eddie's words. "Sorry I'm sad that Bobby's dead," he mutters, and the next thing he knows Eddie's gripping his shoulder painfully hard and his right fist is in Buck's face, and fear zips through Buck like a lightning bolt. He flinches. The hard, cold expression on Eddie's face is wholly unfamiliar too. "You're not the only one who lost him," Eddie repeats harshly, his raised right fist now an accusatory finger. "We all lost him. And we're just doing our damned best to get through it." --- The argument in the kitchen gets out of hand.

Yours, Mine, and Ours by Triskel_Samulet
Abby was still asleep and he was dozing, so he placed the baby in the cradle the hospital provided and decided to get some sleep while both of his girls were doing the same. But when he woke up, the baby was crying and Abby was nowhere to be found. “She left,” One of the nurses explained, “She discharged herself against medical recommendation. Said she couldn’t do this.” “Oh,” Buck’s heart broke for the baby. What would happen now? “I know you weren’t planning on being a single dad,” The nurse continued, “But we have some resources to help. Otherwise I could get the social worker to discuss adoption options.” “She’s not mine,” Buck explained, “Her ex… I don’t even know how to get a hold of him or if he knows.” The nurse looked around, “I’ve seen you with her. She needs someone and I think you would be a great dad.”

Omegas' Run by kas_delafere
Buck is an omega – a wolf without a pack. Every full moon he goes to the woods to run with other packless wolves where he meets another omega that for Buck is as close to a pack mate as he can get. Maybe a little too close, once he starts to want a pack with the wolf and doesn’t even know his human form.

Station TBD: Firefighter Buckley, Reporting by mintedwitcher
SUMMARY: After Bobby's death, the 118 A-shift is splintered. Everybody has their person, their rock to lean on. Everybody except Evan Buckley. He's on the outside looking in, and he decides, finally, it's time for a change. EXCERPT: “I’d like to formally request an immediate transfer out of the 118.” The Chief’s brows shoot upwards. “A transfer? From what I’ve heard about you, Firefighter Buckley, you’ve gone through hell to stay at the 118.” “Yes, sir,” Buck agrees. “But circumstances have changed. I think I’d be better suited to a different station, sir. Any other station.” “Well,” Chief Simpson says. “I’ll make some calls, see what we can find.” “Thank you, sir, I’d appreciate that,” Buck says. “Good to know you’re not leaving the LAFD entirely, Firefighter Buckley,” Chief Simpson says as he reaches for his phone. “You’d be missed.” “I sincerely doubt that, sir,” Buck replies.

100 days by Citrus_orchid
When Bucks apartment building gets sold and the rent gets raised to high, Chimney suggests he stay with an old 118 buddy, Tommy, who was renting out his spare bedroom to make some extra cash. He’s immediately taken by how nice Tommy is, and Tommy is absolutely taken by how sunny and thoughtful Evan is. In the short space of 100 days, both of their lives change.

exposure therapy by snarkymuch
Tommy stood there like a beefy Disney prince, a sparkle of knowing amusement in his eyes, to which Buck silently responded by pinching his brows together and frowning—confused and curious about what Tommy seemed to know that he didn’t. “Well, if it’s okay with you,” Tommy said, “I think I’ll stick with Evan—I got a feeling he’s gonna be worth getting to know.” And getting to know each other was something they very much did. *** He’d spent so long thinking it mattered—always somewhere in his mind, the worry that a part of him was a lie—not sure of his own name—but now he got it. He did. Because when he’d left Pennsylvania, he’d done it feeling like a failure at being the Evan his parents had wanted for a son—and then years later, after learning of Daniel, the curse of his name only felt worse. And he’d expected it to stay that way—despite the copious amount of therapy he endured—though in his defense, he never knew that someone like Tommy had been waiting in his future—ready to say his name a million different ways until he learned to love the sound of it again.

It Could End So Sweetly by Harmlessvarietyofgardensnake
“You a cop?” he asks, and the guy shakes his head. Tommy's met his fair share of bunker bunnies, but they tend to be smaller and less his type. Mostly because they're almost always women, in his experience. “Just a fan, then?” he teases, and the flush deepens. He wants to see how far down it goes, what it looks like under one of his hands. “Guess you could say that.” He scratches the back of his neck before holding out his hand. “I'm Evan.” “Tommy,” he replies, shaking his hand. -- Tommy meets a bunker bunny in a bar - or does he?

cherry bomb by epiphainie (wingsoflame)
“I told you, I’m fine,” came louder this time. “Just need help getting out.” Chimney frowned. “Wait… I know that voice.” Buck pulled down a bunch of needles from the crushed hood. “Sit tight, sir, we’re working on it.” “Hen.” Chimney rapped her arm. “You know that voice.” There was a big frond obscuring the windshield. Buck pulled at it next. The motion brought down all the rest of the branches and the needles over the left side of the truck, a heap of foliage sliding down with sound. Dropping the rake and dusting off his hands, Buck stepped away. His eyes came up at the cracked glass and followed the path of jagged lines to the driver. He went still. Hen and Chimney’s voices echoed one another, the name said a little incredulous, a little curious. Quieter under all that, Buck heard his own whisper, “Tommy.”
it's new year's eve, the 118 responds to a call; buck comes across someone he told himself to forget about months ago

engine purr by epiphainie (wingsoflame)
“Oh! Yes. My car, my Jeep, I mean,” Buck said, gaze falling on the hands reaching for a rag. “It just sputtered and died on me right outside of town and there was no reception… I-I didn’t know what to do so I just… walked.” He swallowed and looked up again. “I thought I could call Triple A? Or maybe 9-1-1?” The guy looked at Buck. There was a slight furrow to his brows, a tinge of bemusement in his eyes. The lines of his face were sharp and straight everywhere, but well-worn too, making Buck realize he was older than him by at least a decade and some change, if not more. “That’s not for 9-1-1. And Triple A costs an arm and a leg if you don’t have a membership,” he said in a languid voice. “Lucky for you, though, you walked into this town’s one-and-only repair shop.”
buck takes a road trip before his new job, the jeep breaks down in the middle of nowhere, a small-town mechanic helps him out

And You Fill My Head With You by Citrus_orchid
Buck is super excited to be hosting a Halloween party for the first time in years, now that the 118 have the night off. Unfortunately, everyone gets called back in for a major fire. Except Buck who had alcohol in his system, and Tommy—who Lucy brought with her—who’s on a mandatory 72 hour off. He elects to stay when everyone else leaves. By the end of the night they’re both feeling some big fucking feelings they didn’t expect.
