Hey you wanna see my first attempt at drawing a robot?

This is Maxy. He has no lore yet, he's just a silly little guy :3

Silly little rant because I want to make like 50 new OCs right now and I need to restrain myself-

I love making OCs that are the opposite of one another, but still have one key theme or event connecting them together. Two sides of the same coin. Yes, they're opposite one another, but they're still both part of one thing.

For example, Nightwolf and [BLANK]wolf. They're opposite in so many ways.

One hates The Creator, and one loves them

One is the star of Manus, who's always in the spotlight, while the other is always pushed to the side and forgotten

One is optimistic about anything and everything, while the other sees nothing but the bad

And yet they're twins. They both run Manus together. They're both connected, despite their differing viewpoints, by the fact that they care about Manus (and the Land of Stories as a whole).

And of course there's a lot of examples with my deity characters, like The God of Life & The God of Death (+The Goddess of Life & The Goddess of Time and Death), The God of the Sun and The God of the Moon, The God of Purity and The Goddess of Corruption and Deception, etc etc.

Anyway, I'm just rotating that in my brain because I REALLLY want to make a jester & prince couple that would be the opposites to Alistair and Theseus (servant & prince).

Like, one has a colder non-royal and a sweeter prince, while the other has a colder prince and a sweeter non-royal. And one has a prince who hates his royal duties, while the other has a prince that throws himself into them. And one is there to keep the prince in line, while the other is there to get the prince to lighten up.

But still at the end of the day the core of both sets of characters is that the lower class one, whether they're a servant or a jester, is so deeply loyal to the prince that they couldn't imagine doing anything other then serving them in their lifetime (and they're madly in love with them even though they're willing to repress it and just pine forever because they don't want to ruin the prince's life), and the prince is so deeply in love with the peasant that they couldn't ever imagine being with anyone else, even knowing their kingdom would consider it wrong.

Anyway. I might have to design a jester and another prince soon 😭

To one character in media, it'd probably be Thomas Wayne. (As in Batman's father)

He's just the type of God that can be a gentleman sometimes, and other times not be gentlemanly at all. Like one night he'll be having a glass of wine, and the next he's having whiskey kinda vibes y'know?

Especially with his son,
