It’s Monday I’ve weighed in and I’m up slightly which is expected for a Monday. I think the issue is that I don’t fast as I should on Sunday. My partner get shitty if I don’t have breakfast with him.
Today’s another day.

COVID-19 lock down has been unkind, and working from home has me super lazy. I’ve also let my guard down and the fucking sugar has got hold of me again. I got a call from my Dr. and she told me she needed to see me. No she wasn’t quiet and drumming up business she wanted to give me the results of my last blood test. Not good, I have to lose 20kg. Wish me luck.

Be careful, of hidden sugar.
Tonight’s dinner was a BBQ and salad. Decided to get premade coleslaw. Loaded with sugar, be careful and always check the content. 92.45Kg

It’s time for change
The past few months I’ve been out of control. I have let my addiction to sugar take control.
It’s time to take time re-evaluate and get my shit under control. Ugh I know the rules loose the sugar loose the weight.

Sushi for lunch!
I won’t be doing that again. A work colleague decided that it was sushi day and we’d get it for lunch. Rice, seaweed and food is ok, but it’s what that put in the rice. Sugar and lots of it I was on a sugar high for a good part of that afternoon, ok time to remove sushi. I love it but I don’t need it, and I would rather not have it as I don’t need the sugar poisoning my system.

Eating to live not living to eat.
Had a big day at work yesterday and then the usual takeaway dinner with the neighbors last night. Was a bit worried about today’s weight in, I thought the tacos, fish and chips and drink was going to be a toll. I was only 300g grams up on my last weigh in. Yes I weigh everyday some say you shouldn’t but I do and it works for me.
I eat what I want and I drink what I want, I choose not to eat anything with sugar in it. Unless that’s the way nature made it.

Went to the Geelong Cup and in a corporate marquee, and I was talking to a friend I hadn’t seen for some time and she said how great I was looking (I know she’s only human and had to compliment me.) more than 10KG’s lost and people notice. I said I had another 10 to go. To which she responded that she too was also on a diet and knows how hard it is. I watched her as we ate lunch, putting everything thing she ate into her mobile phone. Yes she was point counting. Me I ate what I wanted but avoided anything that obviously contained sugar. I remember when I counted everything I ate, how did I enjoy life.
Get of sugar and enjoy life and still loose weight.

Happy without sugar!
Just had a meeting with my manager at work who was impressed with my performance. When asked what had changed I was miffed as I wasn’t sure what she meant. Apparently I have been more focussed in my work, making less mistakes with my work, less grumpy (infact not grumpy at all) and more energized. The only thing I can put it down to is the fact that I am not consuming sugar as part of my diet.
Sugar get off it.

Why am I not surprised?
A friend of mine will jump on any diet going round. She has finally realized that none of them work. When she asked me about the diet I was on it blew her away when I said I aren’t on one. Then she wanted to know how I was loosing the weight. I told her, no sugar. Now she is weaning off the poison and starting to loose weight.
Eat clean live life.

Friday’s morning tea at work
When it was announced that the leadership team at work we’re going to put a morning tea on all eyes fell on me, as I’m am the unofficial “sugar free leader”. I did request that there be a sugar free optional and suggested what could be bought for the occasion. As my work colleagues have seen my transformation, since I have beaten my addiction to sugar many have decided to make some small changes, some are trying to cut back whilst other are trying to avoid it all together, everyone was pleased to have the choice.
Remember it’s not a diet it’s just an old fashion eating plan.
1) Avoid processed foods.
2) If you can eat it don’t drink it.
3) Don’t eat low-fat.
