Finished the Righteous Gemstones. It was fine. But Keefe and Kelvin got married so 100/10. Love wins.

Welcome Home Post-Springtime 2025 Update (Spoilers maybe?)

I wonder if over all the updates that we’re seeing the breakdowns of the characters is in order of weakest wills to strongest wills?

Eddie is very kind and loving but also very gullible and sensitive and to my knowledge had the first strange happenings. Poppy is very sweet and motherly but also a scaredy bird and was the second to my knowledge to have strangeness. Finally Julie is bubbly and silly but falters slowly when things aren’t working like usual in strange ways.

I just wonder who will be next. My bet’s on Sally unfortunately. A star always burns out and no one may know until it’s much too late.

I don’t usually watch the previews for next eps but the preview for Ep 5 of The Righteous Gemstones has me nervous for Kelvin. I just feel like he’s gonna be confronted about who he is. About his queer identity and about being a gay pastor in the deep south. Confronted with how he will never be palatable enough for the southern homophobic pastors he’s going against. How will Kelvin react to being cornered by the other pastors and their homophobia? How will Keefe react to Kelvin being cornered?
