I thought I'd post again, still apprehensive but I think I'm going to like Tumblr. These are a couple I wrote for a friend when they were feeling blue, feeling like the world is a dark place. I tried to bring a little light. We should all try to give little moments, try to show all around us that even when it's dark, there are always little glimmers of light and hope for people. The world will always be dark and lonely unless we actually make the effort and show people it doesn't have to be. Thank you for reading.

Be yourself, know these words are for you,

Stop putting yourself down, look and see,

What we see, you're good enough..it's true!

Nobody is perfect, but the best you can be,

Is yourself, just smile, please don't be blue,

Chin up and be happy, and never change,

See your worth, be yourself, just be you.

What a nice gesture, flowers and a card,

Showing you care is so easy to do,

But maybe one time, just for a change,

I hope someone takes something from those. Again, thank you for reading and I'll end with a quote my mam said to me once growing up. It's stayed with me, she said it once and that was all it needed, I'll never forget.

Hi. I have decided to create a space to share my creative writing with anyone who may be interested. Maybe you like them, maybe not. But if I can do what I do and make 1 person feel something, that's good enough for me.

So, my first post. I wrote this for one of my closest friends of 13 years after she passed away, she will forever be with me, she is family. She was the most loving, most caring dog and her memory will bring me happiness every day. So this is my first post, for Lily.

You gave us love, you made us all smile,

And your memory we'll never forget,

You gave us laughter, provided so much joy,

Our Lily, so much more than just a pet,

You are family, our blood, one of our own,

In our hearts you will stay, always there,

And our memories of you will never fade,

We'll think of the good times, and we'll share,

Share the joy, how you made us feel so happy,

Loved your family, gave us all that you could,

Such a privilege to have shared life with you,

Shared your heart, my girl you were so good,

And we love you, you'll always be with us,

We'll think of you, speak of you every day,

It was an honour to spend a life with you,

You were beautiful and in our hearts you'll stay.
