Started watching Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries on Tuesday night and finished on Saturday (a timely cold meant I actually could curl up and just binge while feeling sorry for myself) and I have Thoughts. Here are a few.

1. Phryne Fisher. Just. That is all.

2. DOCTOR MAC I LOVE YOU.

3. Phrack. Fuck me their gifsets weren't exaggerating they really are just Like That all the time.

4. They deprived us of a fully undercover Phrack episode how dare they.

5. I missed Jane in later seasons. Would have loved to watch her trying to help her (adopted) parents.

6. Their little found family is absolutely incredible I love them all. And I love Aunt P. Dot and Hugh are adorable.

This is all very orderly... but inside I can assure you my thoughts are a swirling mess of excitement and ideas and the 1920s Melbourne and damn it all I may need to re-start a re-watch immediately to pick up all the Phrack moments I was answering emails or dozing during.

On the movie - I hope that the first thing Phryne did on going inside to get dressed after finding out everyone thought she was dead was send a telegram to Doc Mac and Jane and her Wardlow family to reassure them she was still alive!

Those outfits. The sexual tension. Everyone being ride or die by like, epsidoe 3. The best cocktail to hook my hyperfocused little brain.

Holding the laptop’s power button down because it’s crashed and there’s no other way to turn it off feels so unsettling. It makes me feel like I’m holding a cushion over its face while the life slowly ebbs out of it.

you tell any adult over the age of 50 that you're looking for a job and they're frothing at the mouth to offer insight bc they think your young and/or lazy ass has never even conceived what they're about to tell you. and it's printing your resume onto a very disposable piece of paper and walking into the workplace and handing it to a random employee

i can handle one (1) Event™ per day. whether it be a phone call, an appointment, trip to the grocery store, play date with a friend, etc. only one, that's it. any more than that and i am Stressed
