My name is Delenn (pronounced duh-LEN), I'm 27, I'm a non-binary lesbian who uses they/them pronouns, I'm white and half-Jewish on my dad's side, I sing sometimes, I'm a vegetarian and aspiring vegan, and I need to read more books. Also I have a sideblog (@girlbossfrankshepard) where I talk about fandom stuff but mostly musicals and cartoons.

I always figured these two were the same kiss but they looked different so I joined them together and it looks like one comes immediately after the other. The face buried in his brother’s back to double kiss combo. He went Mwah. Naw

Mwah

Unsurprisingly, the incredibly stupid, deeply irritating and unbelievably obvious cryptoterf doesn’t actually believe in power differentials, or medical abuse. The people who cheerfully joke about withholding pain medication from patients who annoy them are totally the same thing as a waitress refusing to serve a customer harassing her, totally! Those evil sick people wanting their “medication” or “dignity” or whatever are just sooooo entitled
These dipshits love pretending it’s about misogyny and not the astoundingly common abuse of patients in the medical system (but of course a fucking terf would, lol)

The thing is that if you don't know anything about the beatles, the idea of beatles rpf is absurd. However, if you learn anything about the beatles you understand why rpfing them is the only logical conclusion.

Cut bits from the Love & Mercy script that I keep thinking about for reasons
#brian gender feelings with landy being a freak mixed in#that last one is technically the beginning of the movie in the final cut but the context feels very different here#the 'chivalry' thing is interesting to me cos it feels like in a way brian is looking for chivalry from melinda in that moment#because he goes over there to put distance between himself and landy who he feels unsafe with#and there's something to me about how he deprecates his girly voice but also sees it as some divine inner entity that isn't quite him#brian wilson#love & mercy

No but seriously imagine it
You’re seeing Rihanna on a concert. Everyone is having a great time. Rihanna seems a little excited. "I have a surprise for you guys.” She says. All of a sudden Beyonce comes out and start singing "Up in the club just got broke up I'm doing my own little thing” When Beyonce gets to the chorus, someone else starts rapping… "Wake up a-cup getcha tits sucked in my makeup face-fuck getcha bake up” Lights flash everywhere, and you see Beyonce singing “Single Ladies” along with Rihanna, while Doechii is singing “Nissan Altima”. Everyone in the crowd is going wild and crying. Then if things couldn’t get any better, A$AP Rocky and Tyler the Creator walk onto stage and kiss, holding the gay flag.

Through a lot of reflection I have to conclude Kendrick/Drake would be the biggest ship but like in a fleeting fandom phase way the steadiest ship is probably Eminem × some guy because Eminem is white. Wang$ap would also be major (score) but Opium mains would prefer Carti/Uzi (deffo redraw them as Scott Pilgrim images) or Lonely/Ken Carson. Those slightly more tapped in might rep Pusha T/Pharrell and make web weaves about childhood friends to lovers. The number one fem ship would be Rihanna x some girl so she wouldn't get in the way of Wang$ap. And now be glad this isn't our reality

There’s just something nasty about those movements. I can’t look away. I’ll tell you one thing, if I was in bed going insane and I saw my brothers hip dancing nasty like that with not a care in the world, I would be on the evening news. Believe that. Believe that

ROUND 2: Led Zeppelin IV vs. Maggot Brain
Led Zeppelin - Untitled (Led Zeppelin IV) (1971) Genre: Hard rock, heavy metal Singles: Black Dog / Misty Mountain Hop, Rock and Roll / Four Sticks, Stairway to Heaven* Grammys: N/A RIAA Certification: 2x Diamond (24x Platinum) Rolling Stone Rank: 58
Widely considered to the be the greatest of their albums, Led Zeppelin's fourth untitled record is one of the best-selling records of all time. Blending rock and roll, blues, folk, and heavy metal, the album showcases the breadth of the band's musical range, from quiet acoustic pieces to thunderous drums solos and guitar riffs; in retrospect, aside from its massively durable commercial success, the album has been hugely influential on hard rock and heavy metal, and often places highly on "best of all time" lists.
Funkadelic - Maggot Brain (1971) Genre: Psychedelic funk, funk rock, R&B Singles: You and Your Folks, Me and My Folks; Can You Get to That; Hit It and Quit It Grammys: N/A RIAA Certification: N/A Rolling Stone Rank: 136
Panned on release by critics who denounced it as strange and sonically unpleasant, Funkadelic's intense third studio album would get its flowers in retrospect, with more recent critics lauding the project as a cornerstone of psychedelic funk and, vividly, "the most evocative expressions of birth and annihilation ever put on record." Most famous for its 10-minute title track, a raw and eerie improvised guitar solo recorded in one take, Maggot Brain examines topics like interracial relationships, the Vietnam war, and class consciousness with a uniquely nervy, LSD-drenched sound that cements it as one of the most singular albums of its time.
