El quinto pino
My birthday dinner at "El Quinto Pino" was superb❣❣ Creamy croquetas, patatas bravas, queso con pan and for dessert a chocolate mousse with olive oil and sea salt. On point.

Boqueria
Boquería had me at churros rellenos de nutella! The food was okay... Well, the croquetas were not croquetas. Patatas bravas, well, the sauce was nice but the potatoes a bit fried too long. The Huevos cojunudos were nice as well. The Pan con tomate, was delicious...brought back memories from Barcelona. ❤️ Overall I was happy with a place serving Catalan dishes. It was loud, busy and had fresh hot churros stuffed with nutella. 😉

Momofuku Noodle Bar
Just delicious and amazing! We just had arrived at NYC and we were starving. We were seated promptly and our food arrived just as fast. I'm still drooling over the bao egg benedict. Excellent starter. Ramen was equally delicious. Definitely on our list to go again!

Armando al Pantheon

This was my first time trying an artichoke and I just fell in love! When you combine it with the mozzarella, it was simple but so delicious!

Carbonara al dente. I was one happy customer! :)

When in Bodega 1900, you have to try the Vermouth.

And...you have to try the olives!

Pastrami on toast, delicious! Did we order more than two? If so, I may have eaten them all.

Molletes: Melted cheese and black truffles. I just love these molletes. I would eat this ALL.THE.TIME!

The chips | Las patatas. Crispy, salty, tasty!

Mollete de Calamares. It was okay.

We ordered one dessert. The cheesecake, it was so creamy and delicious. Yum!

Local 360
It was our last day in Seattle, so we had to decide on which would be the last place we would eat at. Decisions, decisions! We picked Local 360. The decor is pretty cool with a rustic feel.
We stopped by around 4pm which was their happy hour window. So we ordered some drinks and two small plates to start.
The bacon deviled eggs. Simple, yet very good. However, I would have preferred the eggs to be at a warm temperature because they were a bit cold.

The mini mac and cheese. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the melted cheese was delicious!

Then we ordered their Fried Chicken. It was a bacon mousse chicken roulade, cheesy grits, collard greens with a sunny-up egg. I wasn't expecting this plate at all! It was so simple with a few ingredients, but had an explosion of flavor.

Check out the #yolkporn on my Instagram feed! I would love to eat one right now.

Now the Sweet Stuff - desserts! We ordered two.
Their famous Peanut butter and jelly (PB&J) Bon Bons with a Milk Shooter.
Apple fritters with Vanilla ice cream and bacon brittle .
The PB&J is crispy and hot. When you cut it open the peanut butter oozes out... It's crispy on the outside and thick and gooey on the inside. The jelly is on the bottom so you can mix it up, and then wash it down with the milk shooter. I loved the concept.

These apple fritters was not what I was expecting. It was a mix between a spice apple cake, a pumpkin cake and an apple pie. I loved the spices. It was also warm and crispy which made the ice cream start to melt. And let's not forget about the bacon brittle - all these components together - excellent!

The service was very good. Their plates were simple and traditional yet had a great taste.
