Astra: Echoes of the Cosmos
T1: Chapter 3
The following days weren't the best. Decepticon sightings increased over time, and without Megatron, all the strategies they had previously observed went out the window once Starscream assumed leadership. Astra, along with the rest of the young Autobots, underwent rigorous training overseen by the high-ranking officials of the human government and the veterans of the Autobot team.
Ironhide was tough on them from the start; during their class there was no break allowed and slacking off was not an option under his command, much unlike Ratchet, who preferred Red Alert to be in the infirmary than either of the twins or her. Optimus was very stern with his history and strategy lessons; it seemed like he wanted to burn out the few circuits left in their helmets, but no one complained. They knew they would be punished and reprimanded by their superiors if they did. Elita-1 was the most demanding of them all, seeming to expect something from Astra as if she wasn't already giving everything she had.
This caused great tiredness in the Youngling, but she remained silent as much as she could, neither of them seemed happy with the presence of the other but her Sire made sure that the three of them were together at dinner time when everyone seemed to forget their ranks and live together like the family they were.
"How were your classes today?" Prime asked as he watched his Sparkmate feed the Youngling low-grade energon. She no longer needed it directly, but she did need a container for her to drink from. Astra raised a metallic eyebrow at him. "I want to know."their version.
Astra hesitated, but seeing her father's blue gaze, she sighed and stopped drinking the energon. "It was... educational. I learned that Ironhide's cannons can be fired at great distances without needing to be close to the victim." Her cruel tone seemed to be just right as she pecked at some high-grade energon, something that unnerved her Carrier and Sire when they saw her lack of table manners. "Also, I need to be more agile in hand-to-hand combat; I get very stiff."
"You look like a live wire, stiff and immobile!" Skids mocked.
"She's so stiff a star couldn't move her!" Mudflap continued.
"Shut up!" Astra complained, following them, prompting a few chuckles from the staff. Epps laughed heartily.
—The little one is lively for her age.
—She's a teenager, that's what they're supposed to be like.
Both Optimus and Elita watched their little spark run around the base and releasing a sigh full of tiredness the Prime sketched a small smile, how many times had he wanted to see his daughter running around there playing? Without worries, without fear of her spark going out because of some enemy. She laughed despite how annoying the twins became, her annoyance disappeared from their faces as she threw the occasional stone she found in the path. His smile disappeared when he realized that there were many homes she missed, her first words, her first steps, and even when she showed interest in the academy, he cursed himself when he realized that his negligence had surpassed the limits that were established since he had her in their races the first time. But the war became so cruel that it barely left him a few moments to rest before he returned to the battlefield again, but despite all the effort he made he could not give his daughter the life he wanted for her, a world full of peace and tranquility, where no one lived under the caste system and being a Prime he understood that he was at the top of the chain and did not want everything to be regretted again like when he was a child, when it began.
She knew Elita-1 wasn't comfortable with Astra's presence, another reason for her to feel like a failure. Her family was supposed to be united, but all her Sparkmate was doing was pushing away the child they'd fought so hard to have. At first, they were both shocked by the news of a new addition to the family. It wasn't something they had planned; they were at war, and they both knew what that entailed.
But when Aeth-, Atra, he had to remember, came into their lives everything changed, his partner became distant, he preferred to spend time on missions than at home and he spent his time away trying to end the war as quickly as possible so that this girl could get to know the Cybertron he knew and maybe a better one.
"She's grown," he said as he watched the youngsters run around. Bumblebee had joined them along with Sideswipe and Sunstreaker in the game while the adults watched happily. "Last time I saw her, she barely reached my knee."
“Yes, Chromia and Ironhide, they did…a good job.”
"There's no doubt about it..." he thought as he watched his friend and his sparkmate laugh while encouraging Astra to beat up the cheeky kids.
He could never thank Ironhide and Chromia for everything they did for his daughter, caring for her, raising her as if she were their own, but now it was different, both he and his Sparkmate would be there for Astra, he could still fix his mistakes.
I had to try it.
I had to do it.
The next morning, Astra woke up to a knocking on her door and a faint murmur. She looked at the clock next to her bunk and groaned.
"It's five in the morning," she complained, knowing she wouldn't be able to sleep again. She stood up and, with heavy steps, opened the door, revealing a recognizable red, blue, and pink. "Good morning..."
"Good morning, Astra. Did you sleep well?" Optimus asked, smiling, although she seemed so tense that Astra thought her cheeks might tingle.
"Uh, yeah," she nodded reluctantly, her processor still starting up for a new day, "did something happen?"
–No, I just wanted to wake you up, today we are going for a walk –at the statement Astra looked at her Sire in disbelief.
"Out for a walk?" she asked, incredulous.
Elita nodded, not believing it either, but didn't comment on the innovative idea of his partner, seemed excited at the idea of spending an entire day alone with his family and didn't let go of the idea until the human government superiors relented.
"Even someone like them needs family time," the Secretary of Defense said when some congressional miners who knew the secret refused. "We'd all like that after a long week of work, wouldn't we?"
No one refuted after that, but they still had to carry a locator with them, that wasn't a problem, but Elita was surprised when Optimus arrived in the early morning announcing the trip and immediately went for Astra who seemed to look at them with suspicion.
He couldn't blame her, not after telling her the same thing and standing her up more than once.
"Where will we go?" he asked as he followed his sire, his alternate modes attracting some attention, but not enough to warrant the authorities. "I don't think we'll be going across the country, will we?"
"No, we'll go to a place Captain Lennox recommended," he said through the link. "It's a good place to start."
Astra doubted it, but didn't refute what he'd said. If Captain Lennox had anything to do with it, she had to believe his involvement. But her doubts increased as they approached what she'd once seen on television at Sam's house. That amusement park that played commercials on the radio and that Bumblebee seemed eager to visit. The three of them parked near an abandoned factory adjacent to the park, and the three of them used what they rarely used when they were on different planets: holoforms.
Her father's form seemed close to thirty years old, he was tall with dark hair and somewhat tanned skin without losing the paleness that Astra assumed was underneath, his blue eyes stood out on his face in a supernatural way and seemed as bright as in his original form. His Carrier was somewhat similar, his brown hair was tied back in a braid that fell over his shoulder, he wore biker pants and a somewhat elegant blouse for the moment and around her neck hung the Autobot emblem shining proudly, on the other hand Astra had black hair like her Sire's and they shared that bluish look, she wore an orange shirt that was covered by a purple jacket and the black skirt highlighted the colors she was used to wearing.
They bought some tickets with some nervousness, it was the first time they had been to a place like that but since the dynamic was to play and win prizes it was very easy for them to go directly to the stands with guns included and to the surprise of many, except for the small family, they swept the targets until they won a huge stuffed animal that the Prime would surely have to carry back to the base.
"Look at that, Astra," her Sire's sudden embrace disconcerted her, pointing towards a circus tent a few feet away where a human woman was dragging her creature while it cried. "Sam and Bumblebee, they told me you let go."tears with joy at that spectacle.
"Oh no," she murmured, scared, remembering. That video Sam showed her on YouTube, needless to say, those tears of joy. They were scary. "That clown pisses me off."
“¡Astra!”
"What?!" she asked, looking at Elita-1; her reproachful gaze would follow her for the rest of her days at this rate. Her father ignored her comment; he was more focused on buying tickets to the show than paying attention to the profanity coming out of his daughter's mouth.
Compared to their parents' heights, Astra barely reached Optimus's ribs, which was odd since in her original form she barely reached his hips. Elita, on the other hand, was taller, easily reaching the shoulder height of her Conjunx Endura. She had to admit that most of those who approached were somewhat intimidating, all of them somehow giving off that inhuman aura that accompanied them. Upon entering the tent, Astra was close to tears knowing that she would be trapped between her Sire and Carrier for the rest of the nightmarish performance.
"Sam, Bumblebee, you're going to pay for that," she growled in her head as she heard several children from your age excited to see the show, but when the recognizable music started playing, Astra couldn't help but choose her place. Optimus couldn't make any sense of everything that was happening around her, watching humans do dangerous things while performing acrobatics and telling jokes to make the crowd laugh.
Does your daughter really like this? It had to be a joke; with her temper, it was hard to imagine her doing it without knowing that the Youngling next to her was somehow disappearing from her seat to avoid being called by a worker and fleeing that place as quickly as possible before the terror took hold of her body and she ended up crying, looking fragile in the eyes of her creators.
He left the tent and went into the amusement park. There were several extreme games, the roller coaster shone as if saying:“play with me”, why Astra couldn't resist and formed a line and that's how it was for three more games.

Astra: Echoes of the Cosmos
T1: Chapter 2
The base in which the United States government had assigned them was spacious, each of the Autobots finally had their own room after a long time and thanks to the understanding of military force, some adjustments were made for the comfort of the aliens. Astra looked at her room, the decorations that were up were mostly a strange combination of human and Cybertronian culture, music posters, some datapads with both Earthling and Cybertronian books and songs and could not miss the colored lights that run across the ceiling like stars, courtesy of Sam Witwicky and Mikaela Banes, who visited the ase a few solar cycles ago.
"Days," she said to herself, remembering the vocabulary in which humans used to operate. Their language was interesting, it was so diverse despite living on the same planet, very unlike Cybertron where the only thing that differentiated them was their accent and customs.
Sam and Mikaela were fun, they were a somewhat strange couple but they would not hesitate to sneak her out of the base to show her the wonders of the land. Her uncles were not happy with this behavior, except Moonrace who encouraged her to explore like the seeker she was and was happy that when she returned she told her everything she had seen throughout the day. On one occasion both she and Bee took the two humans to a Drive-In, where they watched different Earthly movies. At first Astra didn't make sense of them but she was fascinated by the colors on the screen.
"It was fun," she said to Moonracer as they walked down the hallway. “The animation, the colors, is nothing like what I saw on Cybertron.”
—I'm glad you liked Astra, I can't wait to see them too. But you have to be careful, they're starting to get suspicious—she knew what her aunt was referring to, like Autobots, they were forbidden to leave the base unless there was some Decepticon attack and Astra was breaking this rule just to leave, Bumblebee had permission since he was Sam's guardian and since the little femme was the synonym for preteen, she wasn't allowed to leave unless her Carrier or her Sire accompanied her, something she knew...would never happen.
Since they arrived on Earth their creators have kept busy. Well, everyone kept busy, human technology was not the most advanced but it was useful enough to create some basic tools of Cybertron. Meetings with human leaders became more frequent and paperwork no longer seemed to be a bad joke when her Sire was tasked with making reports on every move the team made, the exhaustion seeming to equal that of overexertion on the battlefield. On the other hand, her Carrier managed to go every day to patrol the borders, she spends little time at the base as if she wanted to avoid it and Astra didn't care knowing her Carrier's suspicious behavior.
"They don't even try," she muttered as she dropped into her bunk, the desk next to her contained different gadgets for her entertainment, including her Datapad where she keeps the books that Lennox and Epps recommended toher. "They said we'll spend more time together."
The idea didn't excite him too much. She spent much of her life alone while they went to war, her relationship with her creators was almost non-existent and her father's few attempts to spend time with her failed due to any stone that crossed their path. Like Astra, she was not interested in being related to them, but like Youngling she felt the need to have affection was insane but pride did not let her throw a tantrum that her parents would surely ignore and scold her for doing so.
He looked at her Datapad, Ratchet's message lighting up the screen.
“An energon cave was found near Diego García's facilities, you are informed that you will participate in the expedition”
Letting out a sigh she got up and got ready, she ran through the corridors to the hangar where the rest of the team was waiting. Her uncles and aunts were there with excavation materials, some humans also seemed prepared for the expedition that Astra was sure would go wrong. Her Sire looked at her with expectation and some caution, he did not seem happy with the decision that was made about her but seemed resigned to listen to his old friend.
"May Primus accompany you...Astra" he seemed to hesitate when saying that designation as if it were something unknown in his mouth.
—To you too, sir—that last word was like a dagger in her Sire's spark and for a moment Astra thought her face was contorted in pain. The little femme shook her head, that was impossible, her Sire never left her expressionless face.
The energon mine wasn't as big as she was led to believe, but the blue crystals were so big that Sideswipe seemed to drool.
"I'm in paradise," he said while digging trying. Today I will eat until I am full.
"Docbot will be angry if you do that," Arcee said as she moved a box full of energon. We need the energon to relate it, we cannot afford to waste it—he left the box in a transport vehicle—. It will only be for extreme cases.
—That's what you say, but we all know that most of them will go to Athe——he looked at the purple femme. “Astra. It still depends on large amounts of energon to continue growing.”
Astra pouted as she remembered, consuming energon meant that she would have Elita-1 and her Sire so close that they would make her uncomfortable, it had been a long time since she had fed on low-grade energon and had not experienced something so intimate with them since that duty was taken by Chromia when she was just a Sparkling whose creators cared about nothing more than war and achieving victory.
—I'll try not to drink too much.
Moonracer hit her on the helm. “Don't even think about it, we're not going to starve you just because energon is scarce. You have to grow up to be able to do things when you grow up, isn't that what you wanted?”
Astra nodded embarrassed. She hated being reminded that she was the youngest of the entire group, she had survived several Vorns alone, she was also more independent when it came to the other bots at her age. She was already an adult, although she didn't seem like it.
I wish others saw it that way.
To her surprise, everything happened with a tranquility that greatly upset her. It was very strange that when they collected energon nothing bad happened, but taking into account that they were on Earth, she had to accept that some things would change. When they arrived at the base they were received with affection, the energon they collected was enough to last six months and it was a joy to the higher ups who still distrusted them and even though the secretary of defense seemed calmer with their presence, they knew that at some point everything would change and that came faster than they expected.
"Galloway is the most annoying human I've ever met," Astra complained, plopping down next to Mikaela, who was repairing a motorcycle. He spends all day complaining about houses we already know and is too insistent that we give him the key to the weapons.
—He sounds like an idiot.
—It is! I swear it is! But Prime says we have to put up with it since he's our liaison with the government—he rolled his eyes watching the cars go by—. He looks like an idiot every time he sees us transform and talks about us as if we were machines and not living beings. He believes that if humans get our technology they can build themselves and we are more than that.
"That's what politicians are like," Banes murmured. “They think they can do whatever they want because of the points they have, but they forget that they are just another guy.”
Things at the base did not improve, with every mission they had, Galloway appeared to lecture them as if they spoke another language and that began to annoy most of the NEST members, including the Autobots.
"I swear that if you speak to me again I will stomp on you until you turn into a wafer," Astra said as she watched the cheeky human walk away towards his helicopter. "Maybe I'll do it now," she said, pointing her cannon at the military vehicle.
"Don't even think about it," Elita scolded, Optimus at her side looking at her with some disappointment, "we can't harm humans."
—No one is going to miss him! —The Youngling pointed out—, And I'm pretty sure you've thought the same thing, you can't fool me! —none of her parents contradicted her—, See!
—Anyway, we can't damage it. The arrangement that was made with the government clearly said that we cannot open fire on the inhabitants of this planet, they would turn against us—said Optimus.
"That didn't seem to be the same as what you did on the other planets," Astra muttered, causing both her Sire and Carrier to freeze and stare at her in an unreadable manner. Bringing that topic to light was like a taboo for them, the war had been cruel and they as leaders knew that everything their little spark lived and witnessed would be difficult to forget, that made Optimus make an embarrassed face realizing that his daughter seemed to understand everything they did despite her young age.
Don't forget to follow me so you don't miss the new episodes of the series. See you in the next one!

Astra: Echoes of the Cosmos
T1: Chapter 1
The screams in the ship made her sigh for the umpteenth time in the entire trip, her companions, the twins, did not stop fighting while the rest of the crew watched with amusement or at least most of them, her Carrier did not seem at all happy with the commotion but did nothing to stop it either.
She looked out the window of the ship, the universe was so infinite that she couldn't see its end, they had been going back and forth from planet to planet for years looking for survivors and some refugees who sent messages for help, she was one of them. She didn't know what she had in mind when she sent that message, she only attracted the Decepticons to the rock where she was stranded and where she hid for several vorns until an Autobot ship found her, the bad thing was that her mother was on board and she was not happy at all.
Now they were heading to a distant planet called Earth, where apparently the supreme spark was located and according to the message, apparently the "human race" was an ally of the Autobots and offered refuge to the new tenants of the planet.
Needless to say, she wasn't very enthusiastic.
Not if he had to see the faces of his creators every day once they reached that stone.
—It's the best for us, —Chronia said as she caressed her Helm, the femme's voice was sweet compared to her character. —We couldn't always stay in the same place.
—I don't want to go...
—I know, and we will be there to support you.
The relationship she had with her family was not the best, her mother only spoke to her to scold her and her father...was a separate topic. But the rest of the team members were always there to support her in whatever she needed most, like a family.
—Everyone in your position, we will land shortly! —the voice of his Carrier echoed in the corridors of the ship, the Autobots present went to their seats looking for some protection, it was not that their mother was a bad pilot, but that circle of asteroids seemed very dangerous—, There will be some turbulence, hold on tight!
And the descent began. I already understood Bee for hating damn asteroids. Those pieces of space stone only served to dent the ship.
«Ratchet will be angry», she thought as she clung to her seat as if it were the only thing keeping her from flying out the window. that were being splintered by passing asteroids. «If we make it alive, I'm going to kill Bee for making us come to such a troublesome planet.»
The white clouds disappear as they approach the ground, that deep blue liquid made her hesitate to jump from the ship before it crashed, but her Carrier had other plans in mind. Almost at the last second he stabilized the ship, leaving it several meters away, causing the majority to release an anxious sigh. They followed the trajectory to what seemed to be a large mound of earth and there several familiar aerial machines were waiting for them.
On the way down, Chronia met up with Ironhide, her Conjunx Endura, and didn't let go of him for a long time. Ratchet joined Prowl smiling and chatting about the weather while the rest just seemed to want to annoy Bumblebee, accusing him of almost killing them, indirectly, because of the asteroids that almost turned him into scrap metal. And finally her Carrier approached her Sire with a somewhat flirtatious smile that made her shudder, they seemed so absorbed in themselves that they almost ignored her and she said almost because her Sire didn’t hesitate to look up and observe with some affection? and make a movement with his servo that caused resignation in the young woman and she approached with a hesitant step and allowed herself to be caught in a hug.
—I'm glad you're okay, —he murmured, releasing a sigh that seemed to have been held for a long time. The small creatures around them looked at everything in amazement, some came in uniform and others were only wearing clothes? black and white. Each and every one of them murmured and talked among themselves
—I never believed the great Buddha had a family, —a dark-skinned human murmured, his companion next to him laughed. —Doesn't seem like that type...
—Even someone like him has the right to have it, Epps—he patted his back friendly—. Look at him, he's happy.
—It doesn't seem like it.
—You wouldn't understand, you don't have children.
As we walked away they began with the introductions. From Chronia, Sideswipe, and Prow, each and every one of them waved gratefully at the small humans before them.
—She is the leader of the Fembots, Elita-1—Optimus Prime presented, the human leaders seemed to admire her just by hearing her rank, the great mech looked at the youngest of the crew—. And she is Aet-
—Astra Pax, —the little femme introduced herself. Elita smiled tensely when she heard it. Nice to meet you.
The Prime looked at her curiously but didn’t correct her. Her teammates murmured in their native language as Chronia tensed at the girl's defiance.
On the other hand, the humans seemed delighted with their presence.
—Look what a curious little thing, —the human murmured as he watched the femme, his eyes went from Optimus to Elita and then ended up on Astra as if he were trying to discover humanity's greatest secret. —So many NBEs in one place.
—Too bad you can't investigate them, —a soldier mocked, causing the S7 agent to stop smiling.
What followed next was a short tour and explanation of what happened an Earthling month ago. And from what Bee told him, the search for the supreme spark led him to end up on human lands and to live with a human boy named Sam, who at that time was at home with his family, and after much investigation the rest of the team came to his aid and confronted Megatron to the point of killing him.
—So, the old piece of junk is gone? —Astra asked, ignoring the looks of her creators—where is it? I will dance on his grave!
—Someone has learned human slang in a short time—Ironhide laughed—Jazz would be very proud.
And that was the bad news of it all. His precious uncle Jazz had died at the hands of Megatron.
But his sacrifice was not in vain, she told herself as she watched the twins Sideswipe and Sunstreaker pester him over the asteroids. Yes, although I already had the slang in my programming—Ironhide laughed while Ratchet let out a sigh full of resignation—. I'm glad you're okay, it's been a long time.
—Yes, don't leave again without saying goodbye.
—I'll try not to.
I know, I deleted the other chapters of Echoes of the Cosmos, but I have a good reason for it, and don't worry, they'll come back edited and adapted to the plot. Everything has its explanation, and as the chapters progress, everything will be revealed. Don't forget to give it a little heart and comment; it gives me more motivation to keep posting.

Chapter 5 & 6
Another chapter for this fanfic, what's wrong with me? Could it be because enlightenment came to me?
I hope you liked it and since it is the first chapter of the year I am going to leave you a question:
How do you think Neria was born? Naturally or through a deal?
I read them in the comments.

Neria Helgren (Morningstar) - Shadows in the Lineage
See different concepts from Neria. I did it using an AI so it's not entirely accurate but it's pretty close to my idea.
The latter is the closest, except for that huge earring in her ear, but I'm not complaining.
I loved the little dots that resemble freckles, but it's supposed to have those huge red dots like Charlie and Lucifer.
Another reference to Neria is the profile image I have on Tumblr.

Shadows in the Lineage
I just got back from a family vacation and the result is that I am now sick.
Here I leave you a small look at what is coming in the next chapter (which I hope to finish very soon), leave your theories in the comments.
It was something She was used to. For as long as she can remember, she always remembered that they lied to her inside that cage to keep her “protected and quiet” of their rituals. But over time she discovered that they only kept her there to denigrate her. Since that woman appeared during one of the cult's summons, the members decided that they would keep her in that windowless basement and locked her in that small cage every time they performed a summoning ritual.
His grip on the rubber ducky tightened. He didn't like it when they sacrificed some poor animal as an offering, but those were the rules, they said.

My first story is going to be published.
I hadn't told you but a few months ago they invited me to create an unpublished story for an anthology of stories in my country.
They accepted it!
You won't believe how happy I was when I received the message and now it will be published very soon.
It was already a pre-sale but I still can't help but feel like I'm about to explode with happiness every time I remember it.
Here I leave the image of the Anthology and the link in case you want to buy it.
