Making a weighted velvet baikal seal plushie :3

Head and tail end are stuffed w ultra plush fiber fill and the bulk of the body is packed full of weighted pellets that have a nice crunchy sound when you squeeze it. Not weighed yet, but it feels between 1.5 - 2lbs?

I made the first two with the color changes determined by the yarn, then the third by splicing the colors into a pattern!

I made another small batch of doll cardigans, this time using the Anemone Ombre!

I've gotten a lot of work done on all three dolls now, so here's a look at how things are going!

- The red one has its claws and horns hardening, tail nearly finished, and hair rooting in progress.

- The dark grey one has its tail nearly finished, horns and tail spike hardening, and varnish drying.

- Then the light grey one is nearly finished with its paint job.

After seeing my work on the first doll, my mother decided to give me two more kits that were covered in stains from Sharpie and some sort of glue to fix up as well 😂 I've got the first pass of paint on one of the dolls [this one had the most Sharpie damage] and the second one I'm still cleaning up. Since they're both the same molds, I'm planning to turn one into a demon and the other into an angel ✌

Here's a progress update! I currently have the varnish curing to seal the paint while I work on other parts of the doll; horns, body, tail, etc.

I make doll clothes purely because my mother enjoys dolls and her craft inspired me to start making them. She loves to customize dolls and make clothes for them as well, and for a while, she's tried to get me to customize one, too.

I finally caved, and she gave me an old dinged up doll to work on, so here I am, trying my hand at making a demon baby 😂 I'm already thinking about what type of clothes to make to go with it- it's turning out to be a lot of fun! So, thanks, Ma 🫀 It might not be what you expected, but I'm having fun and enjoying your encouragement lol

As an update; Access to Marketplace is still blocked and there's been no response either as to why or how to fix whatever may have caused the issue. At this point, I've given up even bothering with Marketplace

Fb cut off my access to Marketplace several days ago without warning or telling me why. I tried contacting them for info and have yet to get a response.

Tbh this isn't a major loss for me since I've never gotten sales via Marketplace anyhow but still at least a notice would be nice 😂
