Another OC reference sheet, but this time of my boy Io. He and his twin sister Isla come from a wealthy family. Both children were plagued with being cards and while their parents tried their hardest to hide it, a relative of theirs came to find out. Their parents didn't arrive home one night, leaving Io with an uneasy feeling. He discovered their nanny had locked both he and his sister in their bedroom that night, and unbeknownst to the nanny, they crawled into the hidden underground passage underneath the floorboards under their bed. In the passageway, the two children picked up two small backpacks filled with cash, two letters, a change of clothes, and bank account information they were to give, when the time was right, to someone they trusted to take care of them. After some bumbling about in the streets of Ciseria (name pending) Island, the twins run into our lovely circus ringleader, Caz. After conversing, giving Caz false names, negotiating, and a bit of harassment (on Io's part) Caz agrees to helping the two children off the island and keeping them safe from their relatives, and any possible card poachers. While both children are quite quick, Io fancies throwing knives and precision based activities. He possesses small illusory abilities, allowing him to trick people into believing he is performing activities he is not, visibly change his appearance, and "transform" small objects he throws or touches into anything (roughly the same size) that he's seen before. He's a calm, collected boy who can rarely be seen laughing and usually keeps to himself. A strange cat can sometimes be seen in his company.

Designed a character off _.bhe._'s cat design on instagram for their 3k contest! I would have given her a lighter color palette, but I really wanted to color tan skin and dark hair. I also ended up wanting to draw glasses so we'll say she wears contacts when she goes out lol Anyway, hope you like!
