Outburst

This is my first post here and I don't intend for this to gain popularity. I'm just a simple girl with issues who has no safe place to vent so...

I'm about to begin my 2nd year of university. I'll be going to school on Friday which is the day after tomorrow. My first year was awful, most especially the 1st semester. My grades weren't that good. I feel like I let my parents down and I let myself down. I used to be one of the best students in my secondary/ high school but I have low self esteem. I feel like I can't do anything right. My good grades were the only thing going well for me but now...

I see my peers doing great things and very intelligent people but I feel so mediocre. I cry myself to sleep almost every night. It's not just the grades. I've been through some shit in the short years that I've lived which I may not be able to share here and I feel like I have no one to turn to. Thank you for reading up to this point. Bye 👋
