now that 644 is fully edited i just love to point out how it is very very different, we literally have a leoluka wine drinking scene now holy shit... i havent caught up to the latest ch bcs im ext busy nowadays so i still dont know what's the exact reason why the authornim did a major edit towards 643-645 (heavy on the 644)

i would love to point out there is nothing nearly close enough to drinking wine like at all. there is a lot of paragraphs that is now deleted (which related to yoon lukas's past) i do remember there was a scene @ 644 where lukas took a bite to a flower that leo offered to him (which they did keep it) in the unedited version, but in the edited version the author added this scene in the end of 643 where The absolute madman leonard wittelsbach does this whole thing;

it's so hilarious because clearly leo didn't need to do all that but the way the authornim probably thought "hmm what should i do to make leo invite lukas to a drink in the most leo-like possible" so of course this little piece of shit did just that. of course he would catch the wine and glass with his magic.. that's the most normal leonard wittelsbach thing ever i guess. i also love how everything sounds like a challenge for leo?? note that leonard was about to hear lukas opinion-dumping related to eugenics and the way leonard perked up and asked "so whatever i'm going to say next after i listen to your opinion, it will define me what kind of a person i am?" and lukas assured "well yeah but not exactly" and leo immediately went "aight bet"

this scene specifically.. really had me mentally in tears because the way leo said "you always talk about the world and rarely talk about yourself" to lukas and if you remember the length leo goes to get to know lukas is always something to think about, he is so curious about lukas but in a way where he is also waiting for it, in a very very patient way. he doesn't pry open lukas even though leo is probably aware of the possibility lukas would tell him everything but leo chose to wait. <i'm so weak towards this scene mostly because leo will always listen to whatever lukas has to say, occasionally says "that's interesting", "tell me more", or just straight up laughing and asked lukas how is it possible for someone like him to come up with an opinion that is very unique and new is so so important to me lmao

getting into 645, this part where lukas was trying to say that whenever he speaks and utters his opinion out loud, lukas tend to keep his opponent in check whether if they're in the same wavelength or not and that leaves him in bitter aftertaste because at that moment lukas probably realized he tend to assume things about other people, which i find so damn understandable (look at how this man is clearly VERY opinionated. i'm 100% sure if leo hadn't been all that bothered enough to listen to him his heavy ass brain would've eaten him out. how could you blame him lmfao) and the response he got from leo (quoted bits above) is something along the lines like "can you at least try to think the person in front of you will understand whatever you're speaking of?" putting emphasize to how leo was talking about himself so he tries to understand lukas that much... i really love leo's way of speaking i really do. he is very very very caring and patient towards lukas. oooh leonard wittelsbach you definitely can love someone in the way that matters huh

noticed how in every of leo's pov when he doesn't seem to get what lukas is trying to say he would always start to look at lukas first. and that kind of makes me feel so sad. just how much love you actually own leo

seeing how both of them have strong personality each.. i just know there will be another time where leo and lukas' belief clashes and here leo realizes there's nothing he can do about it, but then he noticed lukas seemed to be lost with his thoughts. leo doesn't always have to disagree but he can always listen.

lukas keeps giving people excuses and sees the world as it is, because he is a human that went through actual change from the 21st century. he witnessed how history around the world progressed. lukas cares deeply about things individually. lukas believes of imperfections in human and sometimes it's okay to be imperfect because the beauty of humans is that they do wrong for good and would do good for wrong.

leo being all grown up under the monarchy of old germany, living all his life fulfilling his duty, his entire existence is solely limited to a purpose. his understanding is that humans will not always do wrong for good. he learns what is good and bad by crossing chart of comparison.

here is the highlight of their dynamic when it comes to taking risk... lukas cares about the smallest thing. leo would risk that for the greater good. so looking back when leo started saying this in 645 i just. lost it.

i know it's obvious by this time leo knew that lukas is probably three worlds ahead of him and was battling with his mind but he immediately pulled lukas back to the reality where leo will always be there for him.

he is not there to correct what lukas thinks and gives shits about, he just want to know. lukas thinks too much and leo worries his mind is going to eat him. as funny as it sounds leo still asks question. even though in the end he didn't actually understand how lukas' mind works, he still want to listen.

i love how despite wittelsbachs are repeatedly described as indifferent individuals. the way they show strong affection to people they care about is when they show genuine curiosity. like.. that's so sweet if you think about it. definitely happens with emmanuel to maria too. i just love that small details haha
