This session actually spawned a new lore headcannon for me where Scott and Pearl share luck through their soulbond. 

Hear me out: Scott was both unlucky yet never lost a life while Pearl lost five, starting when Scott “willed the Boogeymen Curse away” and it led to Gem being boogey, which led to Pearl’s first death.

Pearl then went off on her own and died two more times at the Fire Watchtower, the second death more avoidable if she’d spawned in the Villies base and been convinced to stay home.

Then there’s the chain reaction of Ren dying, and the Villies going over to the pyramid when Jimmy is itching for a kill right above. Martyn doesn’t set off the convenient trap under the Villies feet but they linger long enough for Jimmy to get them instead. Then Pearl gets three hitted by Jimmy later on, while invisible.

What really stuck out to me in all this is the fact that Scott said “I will it away” while the bogeyman was being chosen. Instead of a curse, Scott has a Luck Blessing, which I believe is being slowly whittled down as time passes. Pearl has the Lone Wolf Curse, which causes her allies to die/abandon her. In his desperate attempt to avoid being the Boogeyman, Scott stole Pearl’s luck through their bond and turned her Curse onto herself.

That’s not even mentioning Grian’s Widow Curse potentially making it worse…

getting into drawing the lifers in my style, here’s a skizz!

2 years of brainstorming, 8 months of writing, 5 pens, over 60 front to back sheets in a notebook, 20k words on a doc, countless late nights, an aching back and basically getting carpal tunnel… and there are people that write a small prompt, click a button, and generate most, if not all, of a story.

I’m not one to claim to be superior, but that is NOT the same. Not only have I heard that generative AI is bad for the environment, it’s simply not good. And on the rare times it’s not completely trash, clicking a button doesn’t make it your art. You didn’t do that. You didn’t earn anything but the temporary dopamine rush from being praised by the other ignorant frauds. 

Artists, real artists, are better than AI. And if we are replaced, we’ll still be better than the people who generate instead of create.

I remembered I have free will today

ha. Haha. So my chair decided to pull a prank on april fools and break while im sitting on it and reaching for something. This chair has lasted a decade. And it breaks. On April Fools Day. That’s great. I’m laughing about it. Totally not upset. It’s not like that chair was in the perfect spot to charge my phone and watch the newest life series or anything. Nope.

yes the dove is dead but i cooked it and seasoned it and honestly can’t you appreciate the work? Honestly can you even tell it’s a dove and not the chicken you’re used to? Does it matter if it tastes good anyway?
