Hello, Mod Rainbow Unicorn here! I’m back with a small-ish update to my sheet music of Endless Struggle now that I’ve finally finished practicing it myself. I’ve added the fingering I use for some of the more difficult parts (e.g. the runs and arpeggios), and I also took out/changed about three notes on the fourth page to make it a teeny bit easier to play (my hands only stretch so far, you know?). Hopefully this helps anyone practicing the song, and good luck!

Hey! Uh… H-How are you? …. I’m Fine. You don’t mind if I come in do you?

Thank you. Sorry I came by so unexpectedly. I just felt that I um should explain my text message to in person instead of calling you. It just felt more personal this way. Well… I uh… texted you that… that I-I… Uh… liked you… And then you asked me, ‘How?’ So, I uh… felt that I… should tell you in person.

Um… well… I had everything in my head when I came here but I forgot it all as soon as I saw your face…

It’s not cheesy! I’m being serious!

No no no… You’re fine. Well, um... I guess I should start by saying, the first reason I like you is… is b-because you accept me for who I am. This awkward guy with a dream to be the greatest hero on earth. You look past all of my irrational decisions… Well, after the fact… Y-you even look past my anxious nature and habits. I like you because, whenever you smile it feels like everyone else in the room disappears. Sometimes I feel like I can’t even swallow.

I-I like you because even after even after everything you’ve been through, you’re still a strong and amazing person. You don’t let the trials of life knock you down. A-and if they do, you always get right back up, and I admire you for that.

B-but those are just things I’ve noticed about you. If you want to really know how I feel, it’s hard to put into words but… Whenever I’m with you, I feel like I’m home. All of my insecurities melt away. Just hearing your voice calms my nerves and I can’t help but yearn to hear your voice even more… even when you protest when I say cheesy things like the stuff I’m saying now. I love the hugs you give me. So much so, that when you do hug me… I never want to let go. I always end up wishing for a longer hug when we pull away. I want to hold your hand and feel your fingers interlace with mine. I want to be the reason why you blush and feel all bashful. I want to be the one who texts you in the morning and the first thing you read is, ‘Good Morning. I hope you have a wonderful day.’ And, when night comes, I could text you, ‘Good night my dear, I’ll text you in the morning.’ I want to be the one to take you on cute little dates to cafes and to boardwalks. I want to kiss you under the moonlight and in the rain. I… uh… want to be your Symbol of Peace and to be able to always protect you.

I guess what I’m trying to say is… Wait… You already know what I’m trying to say. I mean that's the reason why I came here in the first place. Heh heh. Now that I’ve explained myself, if you’ll allow me… I’d like to ask you again.

W-Will you go out with me?

MIDORIYA: (flinches and quickly shuts his laptop to answer the door) Coming! Just give me one second! (the door opens) Ah! Todoroki! Come on in!

-silence is heard and the door shuts-

MIDORIYA: Hey Todoroki? Are you ok?

TODOROKI: (angered voice) Yeah I’m fine

MIDORIYA: Todoroki… You know you can talk to me.

TODOROKI: I said.. I’m FINE.

MIDORIYA: But Todoro-

TODOROKI: (raises voice) Will talking really help Midoriya?! Will talking actually fix my past? Make it disappear? Will it erase all of the hate and anger that I feel Midoriya?! Will it?

MIDORIYA: (caught off guard) Uh…-

TODOROKI: Could you ever even begin to understand the weight that is on my chest everyday?

MIDORIYA: No… b-but you’re not alone Todoroki… You know I’m here for you and that I support you.

TODOROKI: But will your support send my father away. Will it keep him out of my life?

MIDORIYA: (stumbles over his answer)

TODOROKI: HUH?!

MIDORIYA: Uh! N-No! It wont! But… Uh…

TODOROKI: Then we’re done talking.

MIDORIYA: Wait! Todoroki! Let me explain- 

TODOROKI:DON’T! (Uses a bit of his fire quirk to scare him)

MIDORIYA: (flinches slightly) Todoroki…

Todoroki: I suggest that you leave before I hurt you

Midoriya: You’re not going to hurt me

TODOROKI: What makes you think I won’t end up hurting you one day? What if I can’t control my anger and I end up taking it out on you. Huh? I’ll be no better than my father then.

MIDORIYA: You’re wrong! I..I know you Todoroki, you’re not the kind of person to do something like that.  

TODOROKI: People change. What if  I eventually do?

MIDORIYA: Todoroki… Y-your not going to change… P-please just let me help you….

TODOROKI: I won’t repeat myself again Midoriya... LEAVE NOW

MIDORIYA: No! I-I won’t leave! You’re always there for me when I’m upset… so why would I leave you…?

TODOROKI: Because the only woman I ever held dear left. Why would you leaving be any different.

MIDORIYA: I know it was hard for your mother to leave but I won't do that. And your mother didn't leave because of you… Your mother left b-because your dad was very abusive. She-

TODOROKI: (yells) THEN SHE COULD HAVE TAKEN ME WITH HER.

MIDORIYA: You don’t think she tried?! You don’t think that she probably regrets it everyday!? She had her personal demons to work out I understand. She probably didn't think it was her place to come back for you. But, she willingly talks to you now, doesn't she? You go to her for advice, don't you? She listens. I see the relief on your face when you come home from hospital visits. So don't think that she has walked out on you because she hasn't. She is still there and will always be… and so am I.

TODOROKI: You say she didn't leave because of me, but i was the final nail that broke her. Don’t you remember, or did you forget?

MIDORIYA: N-no! I didn't forget! But-

TODOROKI: BUT WHAT?

MIDORIYA: (yelling) She was already broken Todoroki! EN-DEAV-OR broke her! EN-DEAV-OR robbed her of the woman she once was! You think she WANTED to be with him?! Do you think she CHOSE on her own FREE WILL to marry that man?! No! He USED her to get what her wanted… which happened to be you! You didn't do anything wrong. None of this was your fault!

TODOROKI: You say all of this, but how would you know Midoriya? What would you know of my life?! With your PERFECT, SHELTERED LIFE. YOU. KNOW. NOTHING. OF WHAT I WENT THROUGH. You HAD a mother THAT DIDN’T LEAVE YOU. She DIDN’T throw you away because you looked just like the pitiful excuse of a man that betrayed her!  WHAT. WOULD. YOU. KNOW. WHAT WOULD YOU KNOW MIDORIYA. TELL ME.

MIDORIYA: YOU THINK MY LIFE WAS ANYWHERE NEAR PERFECT?! You think I had a group of friends to trust in or a mother that believes in me? Well let me tell you Todoroki, you couldn’t be more wrong. Before I even arrived at U.A., I had no one to rely on. You want to know why? I was quirkless, Todoroki. 14 grueling, taunting, years of me being quirkless. Adults would look down on me, kids would belittle any effort I made in wanting to become a hero. Even my mom...my own mother gave up on me when I had no one left. When I asked her if i could still be a hero… all she did was cry and apologize to me over and over again. I knew at that moment that I was completely alone. So yeah, I may never understand the pain your father put you through, but I know exactly how painful it is to be alone. It was so hard Todoroki. I just… I… I had to be reminded by everyone Every. Single. Day. of what a worthless human being I was. A useless deku…

TODOROKI: I had… no.. id-

MIDORIYA: I know you didn’t…. It’s fine… I’m not mad

TODOROKI: It’s not fine Midoriya… I’m sorry… You’re just always so happy and optimistic. How could anyone even imagine you having it hard growing up.

MIDORIYA: I don’t blame you for thinking that way. This isn’t something I can just easily bring up to anyone. So it’s okay, it’s understandable why you would be angry at me.

TODOROKI: Midoriya…

MIDORIYA: uh, yes?

TODOROKI: Listen, I would never be angry at you. All of my anger was towards the things my father told me and I irrationally took it out on you. I never meant to make you feel like you were some kind of burden or that any of this was your fault. You are not useless and you are not the deku that all those stupid inconsiderate idiots out there think you are. You are somebody, Midoriya. You are the Deku that can do anything he puts his mind to. That’s your hero name, isn’t it?

MIDORIYA: Thanks Todoroki… But that still doesn’t address the issue that made you upset when you walked in…

TODOROKI: Now why would I want to bring that up again. When we finally stopped yelling?

MIDORIYA: Aahh… W-well…. Because I care about… you? Isn’t that what b-boyfriends are for?

TODOROKI: I guess you’re right. (kisses forehead) What did I do to deserve such a caring boyfriend like you in my life?

MIDORIYA: W-well… I-I-I uh, could  um… heh ask y-you the same, uh thing….

Todoroki: (kisses him)

MIDORIYA: (little bab midoriya SHOOK noise) Todoroki!!!

Todoroki: What? Am I not allowed to kiss you?

MIDORIYA: N-NO!! I- uh I mean.. Y-Yes!! I-It’s just (mumbling BEGINS) Y-you just caught me off guard is all. I mean it’s not that your kisses aren’t unwelcome they’re always welcome. I just wasn’t pre… pe-

TODOROKI: (softly/shyly whispers) Then… Then I guess you wouldn’t mind if i did it again then.

MIDORIYA: uuhhhh (squeaky fanboy OMG)

Oooookaaay. I got my afternoon-break time snaaack…. If I can find one. mmm... Ah, this looks good. Noooow it’s time to take my well deserved break. (chuckles) No one is home, It’s just me, my food aaand my sooon to be my nice and comfortable bed.

*goes upstairs, humming softly to himself. Is about to open the door when he hears soft               sniffling*

*Sans goes into his room and sees Listener-chan crying on the bed and he internally panics a little*

Hey Buttercup? Hey, heeeey…  (he kneels down in front of her with a concerned voice)

*He tried to think about how he could make her smile and make her feel better again, but nothing comes to mind. She quietly speaks up*

Huh? (worried voice) No no, nonononooo why would I ev- ever EVER be mad at you? Sweetheart you know I could never be mad at you! I could never find it in my soul to be mad at you.

*She asks him why the lights in his eyes were out*

Sweetie… my, my eyes went dark because I was worried on how I was going to make you smile again. I’m so used to seeing that strong and beautiful woman that I fell in love with, that your sorrow took me off guard for a moment. You’re so special to me, I don’t want to mess up anything. *Wait around 10-20 second for Listener-chan to explain*
