“Good Lord, Anathema, I don't have time for this.” [...] “Yes, I also detest you've been thwarted from getting laid by official responsibilities but work is work.” She tips to face him and smiles, placid and blank. “Your Highness.”

Crowley sat up quickly. "Wait, Aziraphale," he said, pressing a hand on Aziraphale's broad, sweat-damp chest, "does this mean I'm gay?"

Anew
Many moons ago, the fucking fantastically funny, incredibly skilled, absolute delight of a human being known as @naromoreau wandered in to a certain Monsterfucker server and we instantly fell in love with each other. Like, its gross how sappy and genuine we are together. It would make you sick.
I, like many of you, I'm sure, was a fan of Naro's breathtaking writing skills from the first moment I read her work. It's inevitable, really.
And so when Naro and I started talking to each other regularly and the opportunity to work together came up (Naro propositioned me, she says), I peed a little and said yes, please, Daddy.
And now we are proud to present to you the first chapter of our little Greek mythology inspired story, Anew. (Rated E on Ao3, mind the tags)

Rules: Give us the links to your fic with the most hits, second most kudos, third most comments, fourth most bookmarks, fifth most words, and fic with the least words (feel free to interpret however you would like; if not on AO3, can be on Tumblr or FFNET, etc)!
It's been years since I did something like this but here we go! 1. Here goes most hits but it's also most kudos: Not a Mounted Dildo But A Fuck Machine, fic I wrote with my partner in crime @summerofspock and that remains as one of my favorite things I've ever written.
2. Most comments: Remarkably close, Mark of The Serpent also with Summer.
3. Most bookmarks: I wanna offer arise, my darling, and go forth to not repeat my first link. It's my priests AU.
4. Most words: Given I already named my first place with my numer two, I'm offering Honey Sweet, my Sugar Daddy AU!
5. Least words: omg I wrote this almost five years ago. It's a dialogue only fic with less than 500 words, and it's terribly silly: Is that an Euphemism in your Pocket?
Thank you for the tag, @outrageousring5655!!
Tagging: @summerofspock, @themoonmothwrites, @chamyl, @entanglednow, @alyssalenko, @forlornmelody and everyone else who wants to join!

Gaius Octavius/Jedediah:

Crowley/Aziraphale:
Literally THE demon and angel ship. Spent thousands of years dancing around each other since they were so opposite even though they loved each other.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"These two muffins spent like three thousand years pining it’s impressive how royally bad they are at just COMMUNICATING"
"They're married. They're divorced. They're not even dating. They've been boyfriends for 6,000 years. They hate each other. They're utterly dependent on each other. They're gender. They're the opposite of gender. They're comedy and tragedy and all the in-between, what more could you need?"

Podfic: Not a Mounted Dildo but a Fuck Machine
There are not words to describe the way I am D-E-L-I-G-H-T-E-D to bring you this project. This story is a work of smutty, comedic genius by @naromoreau and @summerofspock and it’s been on my wish list for a long time. I’m so grateful to both of them for allowing me to record it.
If you’re not familiar with this story, lemme provide a warning. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT listen to this while operating heavy machinery, or where you might cross paths with anyone with a sensitive constitution. This one is SPICY.
Thanks ever so much to @frisbay, @cemeteryangel725, @thegaromask, @seekingjoy7 and @shipper-of-all-things for your beta listens and helpful feedback. I appreciate you all so much.
Rated: Explicit (and very very spicy)
CW: Seriously, it’s spicy. I can’t emphasize that enough.
Summary:
Aziraphale and Crowley have lived together for three years when lockdown goes into effect. When Aziraphale meets a nice girl on Tinder who he thinks is his perfect match, he's delighted. There's just one hurdle: that pesky virginity thing. Lucky for him, Crowley has always been there for him. He's helped Aziraphale with every other problem through the years, why not this one?
Length: 4 hours 19 minutes

It would've been easier if Crowley had been a fiend, but he'd always been earnest in his camaraderie, tender and altogether too bloody good to Aziraphale, who was all too human and too much of a hedonist to ignore such a smorgasbord of a man.

Good Omens Fanfic Friday (04 Apr 2025)
I struck a vein of fantastic stories, and I come to you this week with a wide assortment of tales, from canon to human, G-rated to Explicit, and everything in between.
Cast Adrift (19K; Rated E) by @naromoreau
Fairy Tale AU. Aziraphale is a lighthouse keeper who accidentally summons a gorgeous, red-haired selkie. The selkie lost his pelt in the process, so Aziraphale offers to host him and swears he'll do everything he can to help him recover it. Of course, love follows.
***
Under the Awning (6K; Rated G) by @heyimdove
The rarepair you never thought you'd see: Hastur/Muriel (but note the rating; no worries about finding out what's under Hastur's trenchcoat). A one-shot follow-up for Drinking Buddies and Diaries (31K; Rated NR), Hastur runs into Muriel during a sudden rainstorm and is immediately smitten (and not the way he thought he'd be). There's a little bit of Aziraphale/Crowley here, mostly as they try to figure out why Hastur keeps lurking near the bookshop.
You can read this without reading the first story (though it's fantastic and I highly recommend you do anyway), as long as you just accept that certain things are the way they are.
***
Something There that Wasn't There Before (98K; Rated E) by @zehwulf
Fairy Tale AU. Femme!Crowley and beast!Aziraphale. A bit of Sleeping Beauty; a bit of Cinderella; a bit of Beauty & The Beast. Crowley agrees to be the companion to the cursed Lord Fell for a few weeks at his castle (he was actually just looking for a horse).
It's obvious to everyone else that Crowley is genuinely attracted to Aziraphale, but she also wants out of her terrible home, and Aziraphale worries that she would be bored living with him with his near-hermit lifestyle and doesn't want to give in to his own attraction to the lively woman. Cue angst (but not extensive) and eventually a happy ending.
***
Demon Summoning is More Fun with Friends (7K; Rated G) by @ochre-sunflower
Outsider POV. I had the honor of beta-reading this one, and I couldn't wait for it to be posted so I could tell everyone how wonderful it is. Crowley gets summoned by a cult, and Aziraphale wants to tag along. Matt's POV is amazing, and I loved how in control of the situation the husbands were the entire time.
***
The Nice and Accurate Guide to TPS Reports (74K; Rated T) by @nicetryfed
Human AU. It's Office Space, but make it Good Omens. Aziraphale and Crowley are project managers at rival companies who are tasked to work together on a project no one seems to fully understand. Despite their respective companies' "no fraternization rules," they fall in love. The story follows the basic beats of the original movie while putting an original spin on it. Great use of Muriel in the Milton role.
***
Romancing The Tome (40K; Rated E)
Human AU. If you've seen Romancing The Stone (Michael Douglas/Kathleen Turner) or The Lost City (Sandra Bullock/Channing Tatum), you have some idea of what to expect in this adventure story. The sister of popular romance novelist, Aziraphale Wilder, is kidnapped, and Aziraphale is ordered to bring a valuable book to the kidnappers for her safe return. Along the way, he runs into a gorgeous red-haired man who ends up helping him but also seems to have his own motives about the whole situation.

Good Omens Fan Fiction Friday (3/6/25) - Timey Wimey
Tumblr media
Crowley can actually stop time. Of course, there are Timey Wimey Good Omens fan fics. Here are some of my favorites.
Let's start with I'll Find You at the End of the Road (G) by @mimisempai. Aziraphale moves into a lakeside cottage and finds a letter from the previous tenant. Thus begins a tender correspondence. Don't want to give the story away by explaining its mention in this category. Just go read it. You won't regret it. The Annual Tadfield Cheese-Rolling Festival (T) by @summerofspock puts an amusing Good Omens spin on Groundhog Day. The crazy thing is that I don't care for Groundhog Day as a film. And yet I really enjoyed this fic. I guess it just proves that EVERYTHING is better with Crowley and Aziraphale. In Twelve O'Clock in Soho (T) by DiscombobulatedBard, Crowley finds himself trapped in a time loop with his favorite barista, Aziraphale. This is the fourth in the Welcome to the Archive series. A great choice if your favorite flavor is tormenting Crowley.
@naromoreau's fic Just Once More (E) has Aziraphale trapped in a time loop in which Gabriel arrives naked at the bookshop over and over. But remembering how he and Crowley left things the first time it happened, Aziraphale tries to solve his dilemma alone. He also can't resist using the repeats as a chance to get closer to Crowley. Yes, it's spicy. But also quite emotional.
I'll be back next Friday with more recs on an entirely idiosyncratic theme. Follow and reblog to keep track.
And check out previously recommended fics on my pinned post of weekly Good Omens fan fiction recommendations

Tagged by @shichidikai and @bageltopia to answer 20 writerly questions. Thanks so much for the tag! Some of these answers are embarrassing lmao
How many works do you have on ao3?
194 (in my defense I have been on there for over 10 years)
What's your total ao3 word count?
2,392,769 😩
What are your top five fics by kudos
Just One More (It Couldn't Hurt) - Star Trek
Car Trouble - Good Omens
mad or well-advised - Good Omens
South Downs - Good Omens
Under Construction - Good Omens
What fandoms do you write for?
Currently? One Piece and I'm fiddling with Arcane behind the scenes without posting. But I have written for Avatar The last Airbender, Game of Thrones, Star Trek, The Magnus Archives, Silmarillion, My Hero Academia, and MXTX works.
Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
OK so my inbox is a fucking mess. I do try to respond to comments but once I fall behind I fall so behind. And once I start getting mean comments or concrit, it's hard for me to go back and respond to comments on a fic. Usually, I'll respond in a big wave to comments on the last chapter before posting the next but sometimes I forget.
What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
I don't really write unhappy endings. 🤔 I currently have an abandoned wip that ends at an unhappy spot and I have a few dead dove oneshots that are pretty angsty but no multichaps. Maybe feather of lead.
What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
They are genuinely all so happily ever after fluffy that it's hard to choose. Maybe Car Trouble. Or after all the angst, you might consider the ending of such small words super happy. Idk.
Do you get hate on fics?
Depends on how you define hate. I get comments telling me I made incorrect choices or that my fics are wrong in some way for doing xyz. I get character hate. I've been told I'm a bad person for writing certain kinks or tropes on pwps or that I'm perpetuating stereotypes and that's damaging. Annoying shit like that.
Do you write smut?
Lmao yes
Do you write crossovers?
I've done it once! Star Trek/Good Omens for shits and giggles.
Have you ever had a fic stolen?
One time. It got taken down fairly quickly though.
Have you ever had a fic translated?
Yeah! A handful of times. It's always so cool when people ask.
Have you ever cowritten a fic before?
Yes. With my beloved collaborater naromoreau. I think we have like eight fics we wrote together? Probably about 200k collaborated words at this point. I've learned so much from her and nothing is as fun as writing with her.
What's your all time favorite ship?
I will probably never get over spirk.
What's the wip you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
Hot Sugar. I'm so sorry but I lost the will.
What are your writing strengths?
I am a fast writer. My methods of getting through writers block almost never fail. But those aren't strengths that translate to the page.
On the page, I think I'm good with character psychology and motivations which I think shows up well in dialogue, pacing and plot beats. My writing is concise mostly because if I don't have a reason for including something, I will cut it. I'm a brutal editor and will kill my darlings without remorse.
What are your writing weaknesses?
I am a fast writer lmao which sometimes means I write too much and quality dips massively because the mental reservoir will empty and I end up tapping an empty well. While I like to think I am concise and efficient at conveying things, I sometimes think I "underwrite" or perhaps "overtell."
Thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages?
As a younger writer, I did it but only because I spoke that language. I think there might be value. Here we come back to, if you can make a compelling argument for *why* it serves the story then I'm open to it but also you better check with someone who is fluent.
First fandom you wrote for
Star Trek. Unless you count my notebook scribbling of inuyasha fic when I was 14.
Favorite fic you've written
God ok. I've written nearly 200 fics across a gazillion fandoms so there's a few. Most recently life in your shape for One Piece because I challenged myself to write something low conflict and loved how it came out. Watermark from Good Omens. And Grossly Undeserved from Star Trek.
I just love writing about what love means to different people!!!
If you read this whole ass thing then have a kiss on the forehead and know i love you.
I'll tag @naromoreau @softzosan if you'd like! Most other folks I know have gotten tagged already!
