AU WITH ASSHOLE TELEMACHUS keep in mind what there might be sharpwolf ship. There may also be unhealthy relationships, violence of any kind, and other unpleasant things in this article in this AU (not in only this post, there actually only deaths and violence mentioned), so please read carefully!

Alfred Jan Maksymilian Kowalski "Lone Wolf"
AU, where Antinous and the suitors become parental and family figures for Telemachus, but they clearly do not teach him kingship. He practically does not communicate with Penelope, belittling her, behaving like an asshole, and becoming almost indistinguishable from the suitors. The only highlight is his age, but his lifestyle is absolutely identical to theirs.
One day, the suitors begin jokingly calling Telemachus "prince". And that's how Odysseus realizes upon his return that this rude and cowardly boy is his son. His son was so pure and innocent when Odysseus went to the Trojan war.
And by "killing someone's son," Zeus meant Odysseus's own son, who was quite willing to give his own mother to the suitors in order to sit on the throne. And the suitors certainly won't miss the opportunity to "tell" Telemachus HOW to rule the kingdom of Ithaca. And then Odysseus got two choices: leave Telemachus alive, because this is his flesh and blood, even knowing that he will kill Odysseus, destroying his family and kingdom, or kill him, realizing that this is no longer his kind boy.
But there is a third choice: to come to an attempt to change his "fate" by trying to understand and help his son. ㅤ
Credit is lost, help me find it. « What do you mean, "The king will be mad when he returns"? I AM THE KING! This palace is mine, those men are mine, and this kingdom is already mine. I am Telemachus of Ithaca, freak!» « . . . » « Wait. Who are you? I don't remember someone so dumb and dirty as you among ALL of the suitors. » « You see, "Your Wonderful Majesty," I'm nobody but Odysseus of Ithaca, the true king. » « Haha, very funny. You'll be my personal jester »
« :) » « WAIT, IS IT NOT A JOKE?!- »
Thanks for reading!!

credit: Paul Cezanne "Still Life with apples" 1890
SO! Just yesterday I read this expression: In ancient Greece, there was a tradition that if a man wanted to propose marriage to a woman, he would throw her an apple, and the offer was considered accepted if the woman caught it Why don't I make headcanons based on this? Let's go!!
eurymene: I should point out that, in my opinion, Ctimene received the same training as Odysseus. For prevention. So then Eurylochus threw her an apple; Ctimene caught it. . . and throw the apple back in Eury's hands reflexively. Because of this, it looked like Ctimene wanted to propose marriage to Eurylochus, not the other way around. Actually, it didn't seem like he was not happy of that. opypen: Odysseus work VERY HARD for this moment. Nothing could wrong, not today. And all was just great! Ody propose marriage in beautiful garden, under the olive tree where they first met. Before this he sprinkled hawthorn and rose petals on the road and persuaded the servants to send Penelope here. Penelope came! Ody says very cute and full of love speech. He is going to throw the apple but Penelope says turn it to him. It turns out that a heart has already been cut out on the apple. How the Spartan Princess could not knew about what is happened in her own palace? Although later they threw the apple anyway. Circe x Hermes: Circe perfectly caught the apple and threw it back in Hermes's face. The messenger, in his turn, caught the apple with his mouth and bit a little from it. She was aiming at him, guys. Circelope: Circe baked an apple pie, where all apples were like hearts. After that she asks Penelope to cut the pie into pieces. And how Penelope was happy when she figured this out! It was so cute for her. She even gave Circe a restrained but full of love kiss on her lips. (Actually, Circe was concerned about whether Penelope would guess it or not.) Calypso x Polites: Calypso learnt a lot about Ithacan culture and society rules from Polites, who was very excited about teaching her everything. She still was awkward, but she was really trying to do things right, to do things like someone who wasn't living on an isolated island alone with no opportunity to leave. So she decided to propose a marriage to her lover, like he would propose marriage to her. But there was a little nuance. She didn't know what before the "throw apple thing" there must be some signs about it or the right atmosphere. Because of this, Calypso had to explain to Polites that she had not just offered him an apple but had asked him to marry her. Antinous x Odysseus: (TW | CW: A hint of an unhealthy relationship) Odysseus shot from his old bow with an arrow, where there had been a very red apple. And, actually, it stuck strangely close to Antinous's head. . . Hermes x Tiresias: Hermes was creative about such special events for both of them. But. . . no one could force him to reject doing some funny things, right? Right. So he has found a two-headed snake that was around the apple. Pretty good joke, isn't it? The one thing Hermes didn't know was what Tiresias already knew: what Hermes wanted to do in the future. And he doesn't appreciate this joke ( and he didn't catch the apple or snakes because. . . because he is blind ).
I hope you enjoyed it! I've been working very hard on this, so I expect your positive and strong reaction:)

ㅤ ㅤHumanization of Wisdom saga !! ㅤ As you can see, the hourglass from the cover is in her hand and VERY small. Initially, I even wanted to make it cracked (I don't know why). Basically, she made her image a reference to Athena, adding flowers (a hint of Calypso) and an ornament of golden foliage in jewelry (a reference to the royal golden crowns, i.e. Telemachus and Penelope). ㅤAccording to the idea, her hair was made of the same thing (???) as something inside the hourglass, I hope it turned out to show!! ㅤI hope what you enjoyed it ♡
