“There are versions of me that only love could unlock, and I mourn them sometimes. I mourn the selves I never got to meet considering no one loved me enough to draw them out.”

Do you ever just read your writing and cringe like I thought I ate but it don’t even make no sense.

What is the point of love if it can’t stand the weight of reality? There’s nothing anyone has to say to me concerning this. Dying for love is not as meaningful as living for love.
Perhaps the after-life doesn’t hold what we think it does. Even if both souls meet again, will they even recognize each other? Is there going to be like a continuation of their previous life? Honestly, both past souls will end up destabilizing another’s reality. How ridiculous.
Don’t romanticize that. Don’t romanticize meeting in the next life and next. It’s not lovely. It’s a paradox of true existence. You live once in this current state and body. And if you’re eventually going to come back, it’ll be in another body. Totally different. Wonder why only a few people remember their past lives and only within ages 2-5? The memories get distorted as they grow so it doesn’t disarray their current life.
Spiritual connection may exist, but identity, memory, time, self don’t survive the way we imagine.
Don’t promise love in the next life because you, the current you won’t get to witness it.

I never have and never will.
I'm too exhausted to explain my soul to someone again.

When I vanish, don’t look for my body. Look for the light that used to live behind my eyes. That’s where I’d go first.
