non-binary people’s choice to use or reject binary language is personal, unique & does not have to be all or nothing.
non-binary people are allowed to use binary language to describe themselves, whether or not they are aligned with that binary gender.
non-binary people are allowed to have a complex relationship with self-descriptors & identifying language, and having an unconventional relationship with gendered language does not give anyone permission to misgender or mislabel them.
non-binary people’s relationship to language is unique, valid, and deserves respect.

its almost like being nonbinary is still seen as bad/cringey/fake/etc by the majority of ppl (including other lgbt+ ppl) so literally everything we do will be “wrong” and theres no way for us to win (except by being unabashedly ourselves and ignoring all the ppl who criticize our every move cause theyre all just shit heads who dont deserve to be listened to)

I’m Not A Joke (No Soy Tu Chiste) is Artivism, art on human rights. Was begun in Venezuela by queer Artivist Daniel Arzola (@Arzola_d) It became the first Venezuelan viral campaign that through art raised awareness of the prejudice and violent acts performed against the LGBTI community around the world.

“Do not expect a clear-cut definition of bisexuality to jump out from the pages. We bisexuals tend to define bisexuality in ways that are unique to our own individuality. There are as many definitions of bisexuality as there are bisexuals.”

Nonbinary people who do medically transition are still 100% non-binary and valid
Non-binary people who get tired of explaining trans 101 and let people think they’re binary or cis are still valid as non-binary
Non-binary people who get upset because they have to go thru life w/ everyone they meet assuming they’re a binary gender are valid
Non-binary people who don’t medically transition are still 100% non-binary and valid

these flags are for any native gay & trans as well as two-spirit people! ive seen such a lack of indigenous related lgbt things on this website and had an idea to make these after seeing black gay & trans flags similar!!
if used, credit is appreciated but not at all required!

okay but like shoutout to all the effeminate gay trans men out there. trans mlm are allowed to be effeminate without being seen as “straight girls”. if cis gays are allowed to be effeminate, so are trans gays. you’re not any less of a man or any less of a gay man for being so.
transmeds/terfs/truscum don’t touch this post, it’s not for you.
