made a runaway to the stars character; an avian dun with anxious pterotillomania (compulsive feather picking). Their scruffy look, bare neck and notched ear evokes a punk style - especially to those avians who are only vaguely familiar with the concept - and sometimes gets mistaken as an intentional statement.

Here's what "Masculinity" and "Femininity" are in each sophont in my Sci-fi Worldbuilding project.

Human masculinity is self-explanatory, with men traditionally associated with courage, strength, stoicism and independence, and most of them take on leadership roles in both family and work.

Aegiri masculinity seems to be slightly hard to understand for humans, with a common misconception that male Aegiri are "femboys" and often seen as "effeminate." However, this is not actually true. even though males tend to appreciate beauty and are primarily the caretakers, they're more than just "femboys," and some traits that are traditionally associated with them are being caring, empathic, talkative and creative.

Ymirei masculinity tends to be similar to what certain earth birds (e.g. peafowl, ducks and chickens) are, with traits being traditionally associated with the drakes being the dominant, leading, intelligent and attractive ones compared with their dull female counterparts.

Human femininity is also self-explanatory, with women traditionally being associated with nurturance, passivity, gentleness and modesty, even though female beauty can depend on the culture.

Aegiri femininity is also hard for humans to understand as well, with a common misconception that female Aegiri are "tomboys" and often seen as "manly." However, this misconception is not accurate; although female Aegiri tend to be serious, protective, and often take on leadership roles, they are more than just "manly ladies." They also engage in some domestic roles, such as cooking and shopping, while their male counterparts primarily handle childcare, domestic work, and caretaking for the elderly, sick, and disabled. Some traits that are traditionally associated with them being logical, stoic, loyal and carefree

Ymirei femininity tends to be similar to what most earth birds are, with traits traditionally associated with the hens being the passive, nurturing, friendly, and hard-working ones compared with their bright male counterparts.

Pura "masculinity" is quite similar to Pura "femininity," as both exhibit minimal sexual dimorphism aside from the sex organs and tend to be egalitarian. But some traits commonly associated with both Pura males and females are courage, empathy, being sociable, and hard work.

The Xikhians and Nu'khir don't have a concept of "Masculinity" and "Femininity" since they're hermaphrodites
