This is awkward

So before i start, I just want to say that while I like standing on business with the whole situation. I also feel like I should clarify my position and what my blog is;

I'm not a drama blog, the only reason I put my two cents in the ringer about the dream smp drama is because my account is based around the rewrite of the smp I've been writing since 2020. I didn't want to keep on updating about the project while also ignoring developments revolving around members of the original server.

I also just wanted to speak on it because it's something I've been wanting to talk about for a while, never once did I have a good feeling about dream. Call me paranoid but the minute I heard the guys voice, I knew something was off about the guy. I wanted to make my stance clear now, and I just think it's better to have more takes on the guy.

I'm saying all of this in case any of you saw my posts about the situation and assumed or followed to hear more drama related things. And while I am one nosy ass mf myself, I don't want any of you to follow me for drama opinions.

Also, to the anon that sent me that ask. I don't feel comfortable answering it on this blog because I feel like that matter alone is something authorities should look into.

And for any of you who are still following to see what I have to show or have been an og follower, thank you so much. I appreciate everyone who likes my ancient project, it means the most.

Last post kind of blew up, so I think it's time for me to make a full post on my take on all this shir going down.

FOR FUTURE REFERENCE: This is before the second crash out stream, apparently that green fuck is gonna drop another stream but because I have a job and life to live unlike this jackass I won't be viewing it till Tuesday at best.

Now to start talking about some of the serious shit, it is my opinion that dream should not be allowed a platform after this. I'm all for freedom of speech and all that shit don't get me wrong but when someone like him as used his platform to manipulate and exploit the minors in his server as well as to intimidate Victims like caitibug. This guy shouldn't be allowed anywhere close to the same audience he used to weaponize them.

It's only a matter of time before the whole server leaks, and the guys already admitted to heinous shit.

Also I find it disgusting that one of his offshore comments made at Tommy was about it Wilbur yelling at him to keep quiet about a possible predator in the server. These pathetic excuses of adults failed everyone in this server and after all these years I think it's time to finally get rid of them.

To any dream stans out there, whether you just liked his manhunt videos or speed runs or still defend the guy. I am not here to shame you or anything like that, if anything I understand the position your in right now. I don't feel comfortable completely shitting on dream stans because I've also been in a situation where I've idolized a content creator and defended them on every hill. It's hard to see someone for what they really are.

As a kid, from about 11 to 14 I watched skydoesminecraft, he was one of the first YouTubers I watched. It's sad to say it but I really looked up to the guy, he was one of the reasons I wanted to make videos as a kid or just be apart of the YouTuber sphere. In hindsight, I'm glad I wasn't remotely close to any of it. But watching someone I looked up to for years get exposed with damning proof, it was a while different level of disappointment.

So when I see dream stans still defend him, and especially those fans who are obviously kids or at least where younger when they watched him. It's hard for me not so show sympathy.

Who I can't feel any form of sympathy or empathy for is dream, he was a grown man then and he's even older grown man. He knows right from wrong but also knows that doing wrong gets more eyes on him than doing anything right.

Apart from deplatforming the guy, I think we all need to avoid giving him even a second of our attention. Especially since this guy has made it his whole brand to leech off other content creators to take the credit for himself.

As of now, the next stream of this idiots on the horizon. And while i can't tune in anyways because of work and personal stuff. I wouldn't even entertain watching it on his platform. Watch it through clips or reposts, someone's bound to repost it.

And to the many victims of dream over the years, we can really only give our condolences and show support to them. People like Tommy, Jack, Tubbo are just the more vocal individuals. Many people were hurt by this guy and we should all show our support to them, especially Caitibug.

And as I said in my last post about all of this, don't let George and sapnap off with a slap on the wrist for there part to play in this. Those two are equally, if not more guilty of horrible shit, don't let them get off Scott free. Especially George.

With all that being said, I'm gonna go back to working on this rewrite. In all honesty, the more and more I work on rewriting the server, the more I get this shitty taste in mouth about it. I plan on continuing on the Neo smp rewrite but it's gonna take longer. The trio is being written out all together, I also decided to keep this going as a passion project. I'll be posting an update on what I've been working on soon, a new character sheets and worldbuilding is coming soon.

I think now is the best time to address to the few people reading my updates for this project.

But yes, I'll be continuing it.

It's just gonna take more time because of some personal stuff going on and I also want to go back and comb through the written stuff to make sure dream and his fuck ass trio of villains aren't apart of it in any way.

I'm also planning on rewriting BBH and skeppy as the main server owners, so no dream XD or whatever the fuck he called his god form (even typing that feels gross)

It's time we bury that grown ass man away in the depths of hell, these people deserve no sympathy

I wish nothing but the best towards those who've been affected by that man-child and his spineless leech friends.

Well shit...

I swear there has to be some sort of Tumblr curse equivalent to the ao3 curse. Cuz life got really hectic the moment I decided to start working on this project again

Not only that, the Fandom was forcibly revived by Dream yet again, since the minute i heard the guys voice I couldn't stand him. I always thought that it was my paranoia from my last Minecraft YouTube phase with team crafted (iykyk)

As of now though, idk how or if i should continue this project. I know I've been MIA for a bit so there isn't much but regardless, I want to here feedback

On the flipside though, I won't be able to update as much due to working long hours. But I've got some more stuff to post soon

So while I'm leaning more towards making this a fun little project again, I think it's time I talked about the main character of The Neo Smp;

Tommyinnit, and yeah, I know the server never had a definite main character. but that's where I think the server went wrong in a way. Everyone wanted to have a shot at being seen as the main character, but a lot of the times, it didn't work because arcs would depend on how the person was originally seen.

I'm gonna use Niki as an example, but Niki rarely was ever seen as much in the lore to begin with, so when she wanted to do major lore stuff with her character, it felt abrupt. And that's not on her. That's on the writers and others around her who couldn't coordinate it properly.

So, to avoid the same mistake, Tommy will be the main character of The Neo Smp. But that doesn't mean the others won't be as focused on, I made a whole new lore section for Niki, Jack manifold, Skippy, Captain Puffy, and bbh because of this reason.

But focusing on Tommy right now, I wanted to make some changes to the design. His skin and the way he's interpreted by the fans is great, don't get me wrong but I wanted to have a new take of him being a human looking entity with some unique look

So, in The Neo Smp, he's an imp. A more human looking demon. I should mention that;

Badboyhalo is a demon in The Neo smp and subsequently looks the most demonic and had more ties to the nether

Salvatore is a devil, looking like a mix of human and demon.

And finally, Tommy, he would be an imp. Imps are more human looking that demon and they only ever show their demonic features when they experience high emotions; like when they get very angry, excited or sad.

Him being an imp ties into the backstory I gave him but I also wanted it to serve a more storytelling purpose because while Tommy is dealing with tye events of the smp, and when he shows more of his form, it further helps people like Neo to demonize him.

Furthermore, In the Neo smp, I decided to only make Wallace and Philza related. Tommy's relationships with everyone start with Wallace and Nico. And that also serves to be a big issue in the future when shit goes down. I also decided to parallel Tommy and Tubbo in terms of Bugs.

While Tubbo (at first I'll get to him soon), was more naive and optimistic and had an eye for the brightly colored bees and butterflies, Tommy has an attachment to the Spiders, moths and centipedes of the world. All bugs that have had an influence on his life throughout Before, during and after the events of the Neo Smp.

Him being raised by a large spider in the very beginning of being spawned, to having a fascination with moths during exile and finally, understanding a centipede on a new level after The Neo Smp.

It all comes full circle for him.

I'll be explaining more on Tommy at a later date because, apart from Techno, Philza, Wallace, Fundy and Captain Puffy, I had the most written about him.

I plan on posting more detailed character cards on each character, so be on the lookout!!

DISCLAIMER!!!

The name Neo-smp is the name of my dream smp rewrite, there's a lot of changes I've made so here's my post clarifying everything!

So, to start off with the name. I called it The Neo Smp because I ultimately decided to exclude people from the original server and replaced them with new characters.

I did this for multiple reasons;

1. It didn't feel right to include people who've done pretty shitty things, regardless of how important they are to the story.

2. The character version has such little time to be fleshed out I decided to just wipe the board entirely

And 3. The lore wasn't rock solid to begin with, i decided to shift things to make it more clear and give each character a prominent role while keeping the main character... well, the main character.

This just covers a bit of it, but you get my point. Here's a list of the content creators from the dream smp I replaced in my project;

Dream -> Neo/Nico

This is the reason for the name, because I decided to cut Dream out of his own smp. I never liked him and a few others in this smp, even back when I was invested, and my gut feeling back then has been proven right time and time again. Genuinely speaking, I couldn't in good faith glorify this asshole even in my practice writings. So, I decided to fix up a new character as a placeholder. Nico is a dryad who gets possessed by a being named Neo.

I'll explain more about each character and my interpretations of them in separate character posts.

Sapnap -> Laverne & Salvador

This one is more complicated but there's a reason, I excluded sapnap due to his lack of character and overall substance. That and I don't like anyone from the original trio that escaped the depths of hell.

But with Sapnap, I was torn on two different interpretations of him. So I decided to split it and keep both characters. Laverne is a Ghast entity who plays a large role in Philza & Techno's lore and Salvador is a demon that's bbh took in.

Georgenotfound -> Galiant/Galahad

Ya'll staring to see a pattern? Reason for George getting written out is because there wasn't even anything there to begin with. And I decided not to include George's name because of allegations. Whether true or not, I didn't feel comfortable writing the guy in any capacity. So it was better for me to write something new in his place.

Galiant is a human who's off to look for adventure and glory, wanting land and a title all to himself. He partners up with Salvador & Nico to make a land for themselves. Later on after big events happen, Galiant gets pushed out of a kingdom he stole and goes through a whole arc and gets his name changed to Galahad.

Wilbur -> Wallace Sullivan

Everyone knows by now what Wilbur did and I took it upon myself to not give this guy anymore attention than he already licks up off the ground of others.

Wallace Sullivan is a supposed human who lived with his dad for a while before deciding to go off and explore (and yes, philza stays his canon father). He ends up having a kid (fundy) and continues on till he's invited to occupy some land.

Eret -> Callus/Valentine

Imma be real, I dont remember why I excluded eret. There's notes that date back a bit with him still in the original writing, but in the newer ones, she's written out. I believe it's because I just decided to remake a whole new character as I don't remember any controversy she's been apart of, so tale that how you will.

Callus was the grandson of the fabled Herobrine and was an heir to the Netherrealm throne. Ultimately, He decided to experience the overworld for a few years before he took the responsibilities of a monarch. As they learn and grow as a character, She becomes Valentine.

Ranboo -> Viren/Vira and Renavine

Odd name, I don't remember much about this apart from wanting a whole revamp of ranboos character because I always felt like the writing was everywhere, and the lore for ranboo was forced.

Viren is an enderbeing with a harlequin kind of pattern. They don't know what they are or who they are apart from a note card in their suit pocket, a weird beanbag toy in their other pocket and a crown. They learn about their identity as they learn that the server they spawned in wasn't a random occurrence. Everything about their life was premeditated.

And finally,

Karl Jacob's -> Kaleido Copic

This is an occurrence where I decided to rename for the heck of it, and because I felt like the og name didn't fit right with the new backstory and lore I made.

Kaleido sleeps, and their body changes at any given second. They can go from a strange, colorful array of shapes to a human. When they come into the server, they dont know remember anything about themselves apart from a constant dream and mission. That they needed to clear the greywalk.

What that means and what it entails, they don't know.

And that's all the rewritten characters for now! These were characters who were made to fill the role.

Hi! Don't have a set name yet here ur just call me writer

This blog is a burner account of mine that I'm using to post mainly about this but let me give some context;

Recently, I was going through my old folders of concepts and pages of writing when I found some old work I did on a rewrite of the dream smp. I was pretty invested in the dsmp back in 2020. At a time in my life, it was chaotic, and like many others, I took to streamers and the internet to keep me occupied during quarantine. Back then, you were either glued to the group of streamers that played among us or the dream smp.

I was invested in the dream smp, mainly for Technoblade and Tommy. At a time when I lacked motivation to do any of the things I loved to do, I suddenly had a lot of ideas when it came to the server. I'd be lying if I said that techno hadn't influenced a lot of my other projects, and Tommy's character inspired me to practice my writing more (not in a bad way). The dream smp helped boost my confidence with writing, and for a short while, I even dreamed of working and helping on the dream smp (which is embarrassing and looking back knowing everything, I dodged a nuke.)

I still remember the night I learned that techno passed. It felt like everything was falling. After that day, I tried to continue writing my little project for the smp, but I lost the will. It didn't feel right, so I just threw every bit of work I did into a folder and forgot about it. I remember trying to decide what to do with it a year ago, but I didn't have the heart to throw it out.

So, here I am now...

Genuinely speaking, I don't know if I'll continue my work or not. I don't have the time or money to focus on it, but I'll still make time to post my old notes.
